Shay-Lee was furious, there was no doubt about it. Sir Victor had contacted them, advising that Lachlan had shown up on his lands, acting like some entitled rich man who always got his way. Shay-Lee could not believe that Lachlan was this hell bent on punishing Winter. Of course, they suggested she should be taken to Sir Victor, had assumed Vasileios had followed the suggestion, and yet when he returned to discuss some information with them, he declared he would not tell anyone where Winter had been taken, for her safety. When Shay-Lee found out that Lachlan had left for the Blood’s, she had been concerned and had sent word to Sir Victor, explaining to him that she was not sure if he had Winter, but to be careful as Lachlan was closing in on finding her.
