Chapter 9 Acceptance

ALINA'S POV

I woke up with a slight dull throbbing in my head but I drank syndols for it, my body felt irritated and hot. I took a shower and decided to do homework before I got dressed.

I came downstairs feeling sick and I couldn't understand why.

"Morning gramps?"I called out but no one answered. I went to get some cereal and saw a post-it note on the box. It read: " Had an emergency, had to leave early."

Carr much. I ate cereal in a dejected atmosphere, maybe it was a good thing Grampa was out, I just didn't feel like a fake smile, or a lame explanation for my foul mood. My period wasn't helping my hormones at all neither were the wolf hormones mixed in that juice of hell no happening today.

I went up stairs and got dressed, most of my clothes were still on their way along with my car so all my dark looking clothes were done, I chose a little white dress, had a sort of cashmere feel, I put on my gladiator sandals that came up to just under my knees. I grabbed a huge white hand bag with a gold handle. I packed my small spacecase and my note book.

I got outside just as Killian pulled up. He climbed out wearing a leather jacket with a tight black v on with too tight jeans.

"Morning goddess, don't you look all hell hath no fury like today." He joked but his eyes looked serious, he was enjoying the view of legs.

"Yeah my black things are kinda still on their way so I had my church outfit left. Wouldn't want you country bumpkins thinking I eat cats in my backyard."I bit out.

"Why are we so irritable today?"I stared open mouth , very unlady like, at Killian.

"What!?! God guys here really are driving me to insanity in this place." I closed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose. I could feel the dull throbbing start up.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to be like that was just kidding. Are you okay you seem different today." I swear I heard him sniff. I wanted to tell him about everything...but Chad had told me only humans selected were allowed to know. I looked up at Killian and he looked concerned, well so did Chad and look what happened.

"Well this guy in my school, kinda tried to go for me till I figured out he was playing me and had a girlfriend, so I feel used. Sorry about snapping at you."I tried a half smile.

Killian looked like he was going to kill someone and I had to take a step back.

"Chad? as in little s**t Theseus? He is going to s**t bricks when I'm done with him." I saw his fists ballup and it was so tense I could see his knuckles want to burst out.

"Killian relax please." As soon as I touched him he reacted in a VERY different way, my hand touched his forearm and it was like a shock of electricity and we both reacted by grabbing each other, he took my face while my hands were in his soft hair, I pulled him down and kissed him, he kissed me back and I swear it was exhilarating. His hands traveled the length of my body and I went insane, I lifted his shirt and could feel his body was on fire, my fingers must have been cold because I felt goosebumps everywhere I touched.

"Your amazing."He whispered on my lips and I could feel my heart racing. I actually wanted Killian and maybe he was a nicer guy who had been nice since day one, I didn't need Chad, Mr up and down, I was free to choose my own mate, I decided that last night.

Killian pulled me to the house and I had to pull away.

"I would love to stay home all day and make out with you but we need to get going!" I laughed and felt myself blush under his sage green eyes.

CHADS POV

I was kissing the lips of an angel, holding her body, she was feeling my body and her touch made me burn with pleasure. I heard her giggle and I kinda reacted down there, I had to take her now, show her I owned her and showed the others she was mine. But she pulled away and spoke.

"Killian..."

I shot out of bed raging, she was with him!! What! She has already moved on, maybe I shouldn't have rejected her, but if she is so easy maybe it was the right thing, but still it hurt knowing my mate had already replaced me. Okay so I rejected her, but I never went to the arms of another, I went to be like a sulking three year old. I would show her! Alina would be begging me to take her back, begging to be accepted. She wouldn't be able to resist, I just hope I can keep my head right, since she's on heat and unclaimed which shouldn't even be happening , the other males will be going nuts for her, I will kill anyone who tries, starting with the mutt , Killian, that bastard should know not to take what's not his.

ALINA'S POV

I held his leg while we're driving to school, I felt how his leg muscles moved, and good lord are those muscles taught. He is ripped and I swear my mouth kept watering everytime he changed gears, his hand is now and then on my thigh, and I could feel my inner thighs tingle and I just know if I didn't get to school soon I might never make it out the car.

We speak a little letting our bodies do the rest for us, I could feel he wanted me since accepting I was a wolf some of my senses had inhanced and I felt the needs, I never used to pick on what a guy wanted, though I have never been approached by any till moving here. I wasn't being easy; was I?

I couldn't help myself, I teased him by taking my hand off his leg. He grabbed it and entwined his fingers with mine. He stopped the car suddenly and the road was empty and secluded.

"I wanted to do this on the weekend but I can't wait, Alina will you go out with me, will you be mine?" I was stunned for a second thinking of Chad but the thought went and I made up my mind what's a rebound with the guy that I should have went for first, the nice guy.

"Yes!"I say as I'm kisssing him, it got heated real quickly but I didn't say stop. He pulled me onto his lap and I wrapped my arms around his neck, I sat over his legs with mine on either sides of him. Not once did we break the kiss. I felt his one hand cup my backside and the other going under my dress, I couldnt stop, but I knew I should, but as soon as his hand brushed my n****e, all rational thoughts left my mind. I moaned and Killian squeezed me hard.

My hand traveled down his torso and he growled in pleasure, I went all the way down till the bulge in the front of his jeans. I rubbed it and he moaned and gripped my ass hard against him, I started to rock in time with his hand gripping me and kept stroking him. His hand on my breast moved down to my panties and I reacted by accident by gripping him down there and he growled something animilistic, and that finally broke my trance, but Killian was too lust filled to realize.

"Killian stop! wait stop."He finally did.

"Sorry I didn't mean. I couldn't help my self....Please don't be mad." Surprisingly I wasn't maybe my strong wolf hormones just drove him crazy, Chad told me it happened. That female's drove them crazy if they were unmated.....Chad....It made me sad all over again.

"It's okay I don't blame you."I kissed him and climbed off, we drove to school in a sort of silence. But deep in my stomach I knew my wolf had growled she was not happy yet another voice said she wanted Killian it was neither mine nor my wolves but I had pushed them both so far away they were only a whisper. It made me sad but I swallowed back my emotions. I had to go on and deal with my wolf dilemma on my own, which was gonna be difficult but it couldn't be that bad if the wolves have been around for as long as they have.

We got to school and a few students, girls in general, stared at Killan. I rolled my eyes knowing my hand was on his knee, he was mine.

"Here we are, and not late."He winked and I waggled my eyebrow. He climbed out and came over to my side ,opening the door.

"Hmm a real gentlemen." I teased, he rolled his eyes bending down. I stretched up and met him half way kissing him on the nose. He looked at me like I was awkward but started laughing.

"Aw I just couldn't resist, it's soooo cute."I bent up and kissed him softly and as soon as he wanted to deepen the kiss I pulled away. He pouted with fake sadness and I laughed.

"No more for you mister."I hugged him and left, watching him drive off.

I felt a sort of bubble of happiness come over me, I was content, my heartache lessening. With a blush on my cheeks I turned into the face of a pretty red head.

"oohf! I'm so sorry didn't see you there."I smiled. Her stormy grey eyes watched me intently.

"You're the new girl, Alina right? Were you just sucking face with last year's hottest senior?"She chatted.

I looked a little closer and saw she was actually genuinely being nice to me, no hidden agendas.

"Yeah he's my...uhm boyfriend."

"Wow your like 3 days new and already a honey like that owns you girl what have you got and are you selling?"She winked.

"Your like me not from around here right?"Her way of talking wasn't the same as the people here.

"Yeah actually I'm from Texas, I moved here when my mom died, live with my aunty now."

"I'm sorry. So I didn't catch your name?"I stuck my hand out.

"Jayde Monroe, nice to finally meet the talk of the town."

"Really does everyone talk about me."

"Pretty much, people don't get much new faces, so when they do its usually big news. Like apparently your goth cause you wear alotta black, except today, all white and pretty."

"Yeah I noticed everyone wears either faded jean shorts or faded jean mini skirts or jean jackets, I'm more diverse." I said noticing Jaydes floral dress with a checked shirt knotted over it with her cowgirl boots.

"You on the other hand are just as fashionable as me."I complimented.

"Thanks dollface, I try, so wanna hang later at lunch, since I know we don't have the same timetable."

"Would love to thanks."

Me and Jayde had spoken a while longer till the bell rang, she hugged me and said to meet at the tree she saw me hang at. I walked into science and saw Mr.lock hadn't arrived yet and the class was still buzzing with chatter, many people looked at me a little too long and I stared right back smiling genuinely, I was too much in a good mood. I walked to my place suddenly remembering who was next to my seat.

"Morning." Chad greeted. I looked at him, swallowed my pride and greeted.

"Hey." I could have sworn the class had gone a little quieter. Out of no where a girl with black dyed hair and brown eyes turns to me, a plastic with a bad hairdo.

"So new girl I saw you this morning with Mr. gorgeous. Like are you two a thing or just a fling?" Her voice was so nasal like and high pitched my ears suddenly pained.

"Yeah we're a thing." Was all I said. I saw in the corner of my eye Chad balling up his fists.

"Oh too bad." The girl looked me up and down.

"No not bad actually but thanks for asking."I said as she turned back in her seat. Someone gasped and the girl turned back to me mouth hanging wide open."So I suggest you keep your snide comments to your self."

I swear I heard a pin drop and I felt like laughing and I was about to when Mr. lock walked in.

"Okay settle down class." He shouted but was surprised to find everyone dead quiet. I felt good for standing up for my self, but I could feel the animosity in the room it was smothering.

I felt something poke against my elbow and looked down and found a note, Chad looked like he was actually paying attention to Mr.lock.

I wondered why he couldn't mind link me, and I thought maybe because he had rejected me and not brought me before his pack. I was actually glad, sharing a head and thoughts with him would give me a brain embelizm.

I took the note and read it:

'We need to talk.'

That's all it said, wow what a lot he had to say, I scribbled back:

'NO!'

I shoved it back and watched his slack indifference change to anger. He looked to be scribbling back and my wolf felt bad for upsetting him. He shoved it back just as the bell rang, instead of taking it I packed, got up and left. I walked to my locker,I slowly packed out the books I didn't need and packed in others. I took my time thinking of Killian and Chad comparing but then mentally slapped myself for doing it. I shut my locker and it all of a sudden sounded too loud, I looked around everyone was walking away....and fast, they looked a little scared, I turned the other way and saw Chad walking towards me fuming. I swallowed but decided to turn and ignore him.

"ALINA! Don't you dare walk away from me!" I kept walking feeling my wolf writh. I was about to say go away when I was shoved, Hard, into the lockers.

"Oohf! Ow what the hell!"I yelled, Chad had me pinned to the lockers.

"I said we needed to talk! You don't get to talk to me like that. If I speak you do. Alina about last night I didn't mean what I said it-"

"No! you don't get off Scott free for that, you rejected me!! I've moved on, you don't deserve me!"I yelled feeling the tears well up.

"Yeah I know you moved on so quickly what a mate! But your still mine I never went through with the rejection process, your still mine, and that thing shouldn't be touching you even if he's your grandfathers friend."

"Well I'm not something you own I am a person and for your information Killian is my boyfriend and if I remember correctly you have a girlfriend. So you will let me go now!" I didn't know what happened but my voice had authority to it that made Chad take a step back with bewildered eyes.

"How did....that's not possible."He sputtered.

"Don't ever talk to me unless it's school or your dying."And with that I walked off to English.
