Luna's High School
Treetop High.
A stupid name for a high school, but still very fitting according to the towns people. The school is placed right next to a forest, a forest known to be a place a lot of people took their lives.
Luckily that doesn't happen anymore.
The forest is now a place that everyone fears, it is said that strange creatures lurk in the dark in there. Some say that there are beasts with glowing red eyes following you the second you step in those woods, if Luna was old enough she would have left. Not alone though, she could never leave her family behind.
A deafening sound trembles in Luna's ears as she is walking with her friend Catherine. Terrible, but familiar. Luna snatches Catherine's phone out of her pocket and look's at it with a shocked look.
"OH MY GOD, CATHERINE!", Luna scouted at her best friend.
"What is it?", Catherine asked with a tired voice. She looked at Luna with a raised eyebrow, like she knew that her best friend was going to overreact about something stupid.
"THAT WAS THE FIRST BELL, WE HAVE TO RUN INSIDE!", Catherine looked at Luna for a few seconds.
"PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER WOMAN!", Catherine scouted at Luna while slapping her face back and forth like a pillow. Luna caressed her cheek as they started to turn red.
"You didn't have to slap me THAT hard, telling me to calm down would have been good enough".
"Yeah, but where's the fun in that?", Luna couldn't help but giggle knowing that she would do the exact same thing if she got the chance.
"Can we go inside now, I don't wan't to be late for my class", Catherine knows Luna's reputation. Luna is the girl that is never late for a class. Doesn't matter where she is or what weather, Luna is always on time. Catherine looks at Luna and nods and they start power walking the whole way to their lockers, and then all the way to their classroom.
Just as Luna and Catherine were about to enter their classroom a boy blocked the door, he stood in the center of the doorway. One hand was on his hip, while his elbow was resting on the frame of the door preventing him from falling down.
He was wearing a black leather jacket with a plain white T-shirt underneath, that was sitting pretty tight and you could barely see through. You could even make out a six pack, he wore some holey and worn out trousers along with some brown boots.
His hair was wavy and messy, it was a dark black but not jet black. His dark messy hair complimented his green hazel eyes, it was like looking at to jewels. He had a small button nose, with lips that formed a little smirk when he rested his face.
His skin was smooth and flawless, he was perfect. He must have been carved from the gods, because *mmm* honey, he must be an angel!
Luna just rolled her eyes at him, signaling him to get out of her way.
He just chuckled and changed position instead. Now he was leaning with his whole back on the frame of the doorway, arms crossed while he was smirking at them. While he crossed his arms his leather jacket was gripping his arms tighter and tighter, so much that you could see his mussels. He kept chuckling at Luna's expression.
"What's the problem Luna? Can't get to you beloved classroom?", again Luna rolled her eyes at him, showing no interest what so ever. Catherine was still to distracted at this guys good looks, and body, that she didn't realize that they were talking.
"What's the problem Lorenzo? Lost your little s*x dolly again?", he looked at Luna blowing air out his nose. He then proceeded to look at Catherine.
"I see your friend seems interested in what's underneath all of the clothing, I can show you if you want..."
"No!"
"YES!!!"
Luna looked at Catherine with narrowed eyes, signaling that what she said was not appropriate in the situation.
"I mean no, what a disgusting thing of you to say Lorenzo! SHAME ON YOU!", Luna looked back at the very handsome devil with crossed arms, a raised eyebrow and a smirk. He looked right back, staring into Luna's very dark brown eyes.
"You guys better get to class, don't want to ruin your PERFECT reputation", Lorenzo then moved out of the way and let the two girls in the classroom.
As they walked over to their desk Catherine tapped Luna's shoulder, Luna turned around and looked at her friend.
"What?"
"Can you please, just once more, because I don't understand... WHY IS HE YOUR ENEMY?!", Luna took a finger in front of her mouth an tried to tell her to be quiet. They walked over to their desk and sat down, then Luna whispered in fear of getting caught by the teacher.
"I've told you one hundred times already!"
"I know, it's just... Why him? Why a hot guy, why not a mean girl or something?", Luna sighed and looked down at the desk, then at her friend Catherine.
"I'll tell you one last time, no more!", Catherine nodded her head in excitement and rested her head in the palm of her hand.
"As I told you i had a crush on Lorenzo a few years back, I really liked him a lot. So one day I came up with a plan, my plan was to confess to him. So I took out my calendar and found a day that would be perfect, my birthday.
So the day of my birthday I got a lot of "Happy Birthday" and stuff, but I walked straight towards Lorenzo. He was with his friends too, so it was a little more embarrassing.
I told Lorenzo that I really liked him and wondered if he wanted to go out with me, I was so sure that he wouldn't say no. Ya know, it was my birthday, so like, he COULDN'T say no.
Apparently that rule doesn't apply to him, so he just said no. He then kindly explained why he didn't wan't to go out with me, and let me remind you, in front of THE WHOLE SCHOOL! I saw his true colors that day, and I've hated him ever since."
"..."
"There you have it, that's why he is my enemy. Jokes on him though, after i got "hot" all he want's to do is sleep with me"
"..."
"Umm... Are you ok Catherine?"
"So... You hate him because he didn't give you what you wanted?", Luna hit her forehead in the palm of her hand and then proceeding to drag her hand down her face. She then looked a her best friend with a irritated expression, but then tried to explain.
"No, that's not the case. I'm ok with him rejecting me, but he didn't have to explain why he said no to the WHOLE SCHOOL!"
"Yea I remember when he did that!", Catherine turned around slowly to see one of the school "nerds" looking at them and leaning forward.
"Louis", Luna said with a calm voice.
"Yes?"
"This is a private convo, don't eavesdrop"
"Yes, I'm sorry, I'm sorry", Catherine turned back to Luna. Still confused.
"But I still don't understand, why does HE hate YOU?", Luna had never been asked that before, she had to think for a while before answering.
"I'm actually not sure Catherine, I think I embarrassed him in front of his friends I guess", Catherine looked at Luna with a very confused expression still. Luna got annoyed and told her:
"If you're so keen to know, why don't you ask HIM?", Catherine then got a worried face and started to pay attention to the lesson at hand again. Luna smirked and started paying attention as well, but she couldn't get her mind off of Catherine's question.
Why DID he hate her?
