Fight To Live

First Day

Sierra POV 

Waking up in a new surrounding is refreshing having your father doting father close to you is pure bliss. Rising from bed at 5 in the morning for a new day to start I enter the bathroom take a shower and do my morning routines. Stepping out of the bathroom I wore a black sports bra and a black yoga pants tying my hair in a high ponytail I left my room towards my fathers room.

I entered my dads room and immediately caught sight of dad smiling and truthfully I was shocked I thought he would be sleeping like a horse.

"What I know your routine that's why I got ready before you and was waiting for you to come find me if your routine hasn't changed to workout with me?", he chuckled obviously after witnessing my shocked expression.

"My routine will never change when it comes to you. Now lets go before school starts", I replied smiling at him when he moved out of the room and entered a room probably gym.

Next two hours I did work out with dad using treadmill and lifting weights and punching bag.

"Fire its enough you will wore yourself out lets go", dad whined seeing me.

"I have to be strong I have to fight dad", I replied and suddenly he become quite I looked at him and saw something which I wish I would have never seen there was curiosity in his eyes and I am happy he didn't asked anything its been thirteen years but still I never told him what happened and he never questioned me in these years I know he has the right to know but I dread that day.

"Ok fine lets go tell me what do you want me to make for breakfast?", I questioned him leaving the gym with dad right behind me to avoid looking at him with guilt filled eyes of not telling him of the incident. I stop in my tracks when I feel his hand on my shoulder and he turns me around while I am still not looking in his eyes.

"Its ok I will wait because I know its not the right time for me to know and don't feel ashamed but look in my eyes because I am proud if you for being this strong and anyways today is your first day at a new school that's I am cooking for you not you", he said while raising my chin with his other hand that is not on my shoulder. Nodding my head and smiling brightly at him I enter my room and start getting ready for school wearing light blue jeans with a grey T-shirt and a jacket packing my bag I leave for the kitchen.

When I reach there I find dad cooking pancakes while Brian, Julie and Sam are sitting on bar stools against the counter and I prop myself on the last stool beside Sam.

"Good Morning everyone", I greet them all and get their attention when they greet me back and receive a plate of pancakes by dad whos waiting eagerly for my complement I take a bite and let me tell you its horrible I look around myself and see everyone looking at me and from their expressions I can tell they have eaten it and have not said anything to dad and I don't know why.

"Its horrible dad let me cook you have forgotten cooking maybe because you haven't cooked for me for a year now", I tell him truthfully and I don't see sadness in his eyes but instead I saw nervousness while others just look at me like I have grown to heads.

"What?", I ask looking in each and everyone's eyes.

"Whoa you are cool", Brian said looking at me grinning ear to ear.

"huh", I was seriously confused by his statement.

"You know we were afraid of uncles reaction that's why we didn't say anything to him but here you my friend told him the truth without wasting a second you are fearless", he states showing me a thumbs up ignoring him I turned my attention towards dad with a raised eyebrow.

"uh uh ok fine I didn't want to cook for anyone except you that's why my cooking skills have become rusty but I promise I will improve it",  he said looking nervously at me and I just chuckled seeing him all scared shaking my head I made him sit and started cooking I cooked some edible pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacons for everyone and served them including myself.

"hmm its delicious even better then moms", Sam said moaning and I blushed hearing him moan seriously why am I blushing I don't blush but before I could thank him for his compliment a voice spoke.

"What is better then mine?", we all turned to see Anna standing there with Dani looking at all of us.

 "Mom Sam is saying Sierras pancakes are better then yours", she said smiling evilly while looking at her brother.

"It must be better then maybe you could ask her to cook for you your whole life right Sam?", she replied with a knowing smile looking at Sam who was blushing but the question is why was he blushing.

"No not at all Sierra is not his maid and even if she will cook it will be for her husband", dad answered for me while keeping his plate in the sink coming towards me giving my for head a kiss.

"I am also saying for her husband", she said looking at me

"Anyways Sam can you take Sierra to school? I have work with your dad", dad said looking at me.

"sure uncle we are getting late lets go", he said looking at me when something passed his eyes before I could recognize it was gone 

I nodded my head and left behind him followed by Julie, and Brian we were going to school in two cars in one I was sitting with Sam while in the other Brian and Julie were all throughout the ride I could feel his eyes on me but I being the total bi*** ignored him because I cant let someone in in my messed up past.

When we reached the schools parking lot I exited his car and got a lot of stares and murmurs passing by a bunch of girls who were staring at me with maybe something like envy and I heard them talking

"Is she Sam's girlfriend she looks like a model", girl 1 said.

"She looks like a slut to me", girl 2 said royally ignoring them I went to the office and no I didn't asked anyone because before going to any new place I look into it and I have seen here's blueprints and don't ask me how I got them there is nothing a little hacking cant do.

"I am here for my schedule I am new here", I asked the office lady probably in her late fifties who looked up at me and smiled.

"Your name?", she asked me smiling that reached her eyes and not because she is forced to.

"Sierra Black", I answered her politely when she looked up shocked at me.

"Oh dear you are the girl with highest IQ in Brazil", she said smiling brightly at me and even I don't know how she knows. Taking my schedule from left for my first class that's of math's knocking before entering I heard wolf whistles just like typical teenagers when I looked around I saw Sam and Brian in the class and Sam with an angry expression don't know why and the boys in the class were looking at me with lust which brought memories back I don't want to remember and girls were simply glaring at me when I didn't even do anything. 

"So you are the new student come introduce yourself", the professor who was in his early thirties was looking at me with those eyes that looked like it was undressing me which disgusted me.

"My name is Sierra Black I am from Brazil and if you all don't want trouble stay away from me", I said giving a blank look to everyone and shocked expressions and surprised ones on Sam and Brian faces I looked back and saw the professor shocked as well but he quickly recovered from it.

 "Oh well Sierra take that place near the window", he said pointing at a seat while trying to touch my arm but even before he could touch me I moved out his reach and I know just by looking at his face that he is bad.

Its lunch and let me tell you the last three hours were hell boys with worst pick up lines and girls were just glaring at me like seriously.

I entered the canteen and saw what a typical high school holds like groups of cheerleaders, jocks, rich kids, nerds and others I was just going to sit at a random place but Julie came and dragged me to a table where her brother, with Brian and two other boys were sitting.

"My God you are a beauty so the rumors were right", one of them said but in return I just raised an eyebrow to which Brian answered "this here is Seth and that is Ronald in short Ron they are friends", he introduced us and let me tell these friends are hot hunks they were talking about some deals means they all work for Sam but suddenly they all got quite and looked behind me and when I turned what I saw shocked three boys were bullying a boy whose face I cannot see because his face was towards me.

 "Do you wanna cry then cry because you you are a disgrace a weak pathetic boy who unfortunately is my brother", the middle one said with clear disgust in his voice while others were poking him and one of them spitted on his food when I looked around the cafeteria everyone was looking at them like they are an entertainment show I was going to get up when someone held my hand and that hand belonged to Sam.

"Leave my hand", I told him calmly while he just shook his head.

"Leave", instead of leaving he held my hand more tightly.

"Don't its their family issue don't get involve", he warned me while I just glared at him I was going to give up but when I heard his voice made me stunned and I immediately turned around.

"Leave me Ben", It was Ken and I am sure of it Ben was going to punch but I spoke up

"Ken fight back", they all looked at me and I saw surprise on Kens face Ben and his friends started laughing but I royally ignored them and locked my gaze with Ken who I know just wanted my assurance that I am there and I just nodded at him and I saw determination to fight in his eyes.

"He cant fight he is a p***y cat whos scared", Ben was going to say something else but was shut with one punch that came from Ken that knocked him to ground and everyone was looking stunned between Ken and me I felt it when Sam left my hand and I spread my arms for him to v=come and he didn't waste another minute before running into my arms and burying his face in my neck and hugged me tight like he needed reassurance that I am really here.

"Lets go I am here now you will fight", I felt his tears falling on my neck while rubbed his back soothingly while everyone was watching us keenly. I took hold of his hand and left the cafeteria.

"we will talk about it after school don't worry I am here", I reassured him when I heard the bell for the end of recess.
