1290 Words

-Kat- “Come here, Meg!” I yelled as I chased my friend through the house. She glanced over her shoulder, noticing how close I was. Engaged in conversation with her sister when I found her, she quickly set her drink down before bolting out of the living room. Both of us were wearing heels, but fueled by determination and anger, I was slowly gaining ground. She made for the stairs at the entrance of the house. I barely managed to grab her dress as she darted around the staircase, but she slipped from my grasp.
