CHAPTER 21 Jason barged into Dan’s office with veins popping out of his neck from anger. “Where is that son of a b***h!” He screamed at the security guards that surrounded the place. Two of the biggest guards grabbed him by his arms as Jason punched them in the face, then kicked as they held him up, grabbing him by his head. He screamed throwing a man that was behind him over his shoulder and down to the ground. Another kicked towards Jason’s chest, but he dodged by leaning forward punching the man in his throat.
“Bring my son to me.” The intercom went off as the guard looked up. Three men carried Jason as he fought, trying to escape. They carried him upstairs to the front of Dan’s desk. “Jason I’ve been expecting you,” Dan said, not looking up from the papers he was looking at with his glasses on. “Release him.” The guards released Jason as he walked over to his father. “Here. I need you to sign these papers for the expansion.” Dan handed him a clipboard with a pen attached. Jason angrily knocked the clipboard out of his hand. “Wow.” Dan took off his glasses. “I need to have a talk with Wilson about raising you to respect your elders.”
“f**k you, Dan. You have crossed the line this time.”
“I assume you mean my visit with Alyssa.”
“You know damn well why I’m here. So just cut the s**t. You f*****g hurt her you disgusting mother fucker.” He pulled his fists back ready to punch Dan’s lights out, but the guards held on to Jason’s fists. Dan never moved an inch. “She tried to attack me, Jason. I was only protecting myself.” Jason jerked away from the guard. “You are such a f*****g liar. You ruined…”
“Cut the s**t, Jason. You and I both know you only want her so you can c*m. You wouldn’t even look her way if she didn’t have the magic pussy.” Jason winced shaking his head. “That’s not true. I care about her.” Dan laughed. “You come from my sperm Jason. I know you better than you know yourself. The c*m was all that attracted you. Be honest with yourself.” Jason frowned, really looking deep within himself for the answer.
Did he really care about Alyssa like he thought? The answer was still yes. Even if he didn’t know how to show it to her. “No, Dan. You’re wrong. Don’t act like you f*****g know me because you don’t. I’m nothing like you. Stay away from Alyssa. Don’t ever go near her again.”
“Or what Jason?” Dan tilted his head in curiosity. Jason hit his hands on the table. “I will turn myself into the police and confess to kidnapping Abagail and pushing Diamond down the stairs.” Dan sat back in his chair. “Really? Did you kidnap Abagail?” Jason’s face squinted together in disbelief. “No.”
“Well, then there won’t be any jail time for you. Not even now, after what I have done.”
“What did you do?” Jason removed his hands from the table, staring at Dan with a face full of accusations. “I handled the detective. You won’t be seeing her for a while.”
“What the f**k did you do?” There was a small pause as Jason thought about Dan and the detective together. “You f****d her didn’t you?” Dan chuckled. “She wanted me to request for you as well, but I knew you wouldn’t be man enough to handle it.”
“A threesome? I would rather go to jail then enter something your filthy d**k has been in.” Dan placed his glasses back on as he gestured for the papers Jason knocked out of his hands. “A thank you, I believe, is in order for saving you once again. You can thank me by signing these papers.” Jason laughed. “You expect me to sign my sister over to you after what you have done? You are a sick bastard and a stupid one if you think I will let you hurt the women I care about. You have already taken my mother…”
Dan stood then with a deadly stare in his eyes. “You shut your f*****g mouth about s**t you do not understand.” They stood eye to eye, staring intensely at each other. “You won’t talk ill about me when it comes to my wife.”
“Why Dan? Afraid the guilt will…” Before Jason could continue, Dan struck him hard with a blow to his cheeks. Jason fell over from the impact. For the man to be as old as he was, he sure as hell was strong. Jason picked himself up with a heavy fist to the man’s stomach causing him to fall over, then he uppercutted him in his chin. The guards came to apprehend Jason again before he continued to beat up Dan. “f**k You!” He screamed as blood ran down his lip. Dan held his stomach as he walked up to Jason, grabbing his cheeks while his guards held him down.
Jason moved trying to bite Dan’s fingers. “Don’t f*****g touch me.” He said through clenched teeth. He was beyond pissed and was ready to pound on his own father some more. Hitting him was almost better than coming. The pent-up rage over the years was all boiling over now that his world was dissolving. The day couldn’t have gotten worse as he struggled to get away from the guards.
“You dare call yourself a father. You had some bastard hold me at gunpoint just so you could go talk to my woman. You are a piece of s**t and I will never forgive you.” Dan held Jason by his hair, lifting his head to look at him. “I didn’t hire anyone to hurt you, Jason. It sounds like karma. Look at you being a hypocrite. Your woman? The man who takes wives and breaks up happy homes now wants a woman for himself? How ironic.” He jerked his head away from him.
“You are the piece of s**t Jason. You are stupid to believe you can break up homes without consequences. Men like us can’t love, son. We can never love without hurting them. We are a curse upon those we care about. Get your s**t together and get back in the game.” Dan turned around wiping his sweat from his brow. “This fantasy you have of this woman is all a lie, Jason. I visited the voodoo princess and she told me there is no way around the curse. No loopholes. It’s impossible for you to c*m with any woman.” Jason looked shocked and confused. “It’s true.”
“No, it’s not!” Dan turned around while he screamed. “It can’t be Jason. She wouldn’t lie to me.” Jason scoffed. “Because you’re such an upstanding guy, right?” he replied smartly, with a fake smirk. Dan scoffed then as well. “You will forget about this woman and carry on with business as usual, am I clear?” Jason didn’t reply. “Am I clear?” Dan grabbed his face, the same way Jason had grabbed Melissa’s. Jason jerked away with all the force he could conjure up. The guards released him as he stood straight and tall walking towards the exit. “What happens if I don’t, Dan? You gonna shoot me?” Dan smirked as Jason turned his back on him as he walked out of the office.
Jason sat on the roof of his building with a bottle of Hennessy. Everything he thought himself to be was now falling to s**t in a matter of days. Abagail being missing and now he’d lost Alyssa, not to mention the f****d up s**t his lying ass father was pulling. He needed some release. Something to help ease his pain. He sat on the edge of the building with his bottle looking over the city.
Something told him to look down as he looked over. Down below he saw the woman from his mirror with paint on her face staring up at him. “Go to her.” Was a whisper he heard as he squinted down to see if that was what she said. “Jason.” He jumped, almost off the building, but the voice behind him grabbed him pulling him back to the wall. “What the f**k?” he turned to see Frank.
“Jesus Jason, what the hell you doing out here?” Jason staggered down the wall on his knees as he sat down. “Do you see a woman down there?” Frank looked down to see who he was talking about. “There is nothing there. f**k Jason, how much did you drink?” He snatched the empty bottle away from him. “Do I need to call Wilson or Dan?” Jason laughed then at the thought of Dan coming to help him in any way. “No Dan. No thank you. I’m fine. I just needed to clear my head.”
Frank sat beside him on the ground, back against the wall. “I guess plunging twenty-two stories high will do that for you.” Jason only smiled a little, too hurt to laugh. “Karma is coming for me, Frank. I f****d up.” Frank chuckled. “Yeah you did, sorry to say.” Jason joined in his chuckle. “Why are you here, Frank? You got kids and s**t, a wife. You should go home.” Jason looked at his watch as it read 12:30 a.m. “I was just doing my rounds before I left and came across you up here.” Jason tilted his head to him.
“You’re a good man, Frank. Unlike me. I’m f*****g cursed to hurt people I care about. Dan was right. You think I’m doing a good thing?” Frank lifted one of his legs up to his chest. “My wife cheated on me like four years ago.” Jason winced. “s**t, Frank, I didn’t know that.” Frank lifted his hands. “It’s fine, I think he is getting his karma.”
“How did you forgive her?” Frank didn’t answer as he looked off into space. “Frank?” He turned to him quickly, joining him in reality. “How did you forgive her?” Frank gave a small smile. “I love her and she saw it eventually. I told her I wouldn’t let her go and I wouldn’t lose her to another man. Simple.”
“Did you know the guy?”
“No. Not then anyway. Found out the guy’s some kind of doctor.” Jason shook his head. “You blame him or her?”
“I honestly don’t know Jason. You tell me who I should blame.” He stood up then. “I better get going. I’m calling Melissa to come up here with you.” He walked through the door before Jason could object. A few minutes later Melissa walked out to him worried. “Jason! Oh my god, Frank told me you were out here about to jump.” Jason shooed her away as she checked his face for bruises. “Somebody has been hitting you?”
“Your lover,” Jason replied, smartly. She sat beside him against the wall where Frank was. “We’re both pretty f****d up Jason.” She admitted. Jason nodded, allowing her to lay her head on his shoulders.
