well This Is My Story

Hi my name is Megan Harper and well this is my story. Meagan at 11 years old: 1:00 in the morning "MEAGAN GET UP!" my father yelled for me. I knew I was in trouble. I ran as fast as I could down the stairs  to see what my father was calling me about. "yes father," I said as I entered the kitchen to see my father's deep blue eyes. I saw anger lot's covering all the sadness and fear he had. I was knocked out of my thoughts when... I was hit. Blood covered my face where he hit me in my mouth. tears pooled my face. Then all of a sudden there was a knock at the door. we all froze but then my father started to laugh. "Is that him. THE MAN YOU CLAIM TO BE IN LOVE WITH" my father shouted with anger in his voice and tears in his eyes. "sir open up this child protective services with the police." As I heard the words come out their mouth  I knew that they meant a lot. It had my father and mother shaking in fear as they heard these words. " Go to your room and don't come out," he told me. So that is what I did. I ran to my room and hid under the covers. Soon enough I heard thumps and thuds, booming and banging. I tried to close my eyes and hope sleep would fall upoun me but I was wrong. All of a sudden people were running up the stairs. The people knocked gelnly on my door. “ no one is here” I wispered in a soft voice. Then suddenly the door was opening and 2 police officers were entering my room. “Hi my name is officer Quinn and this is my partner officer Jackson. What is your name” “m-my name is Meagan Monique Harper.”  “Well meagan monique harper we will need you to come with us please”. As soon as thoose word rolled off the tip of her tongue I thought about death about what my father would do if I disobayed him. “n-no thank you if I disobayed father he wou-.” as I was talking, officer Quinn came and sat beside me on my bed. She raised her hand up and stretched but I flinced. I tought she was going to hit me.  “ May I see your arms'' officer Jackson as he moved to me. I was wearing a long sleeve oversized t-shirt with oversized pants which had dirt and dust all over. I slowly rolled my sleeves up to expost all the cuts and bruises. When I rolled them up the officers looked surprised when they saw how many scars I had. Then I was starteled out of my thoughts when I heard officer James say. “We got an code 11-69 over” “Wait no,no what is that. Y-you can’t tell anyone or he will kill me please” I beged. Crying and looking a mess but I don't care I did not want to die.  “Please come with us, you will be safe and we will put you in a new home. You can trust us proimice.
