It's been an entire month since Sulem last talk—well ended things between her and Chris. She would be lying if she said she was still not affected by it.
She was currently getting herself together for work. Ever since Reynolds had told her about working yoga hours which was not enough pay as a miracle worker of therapist she was, he has been giving her more work to do. After all the paparazzi coming her way with loads of questions, it had finally stopped and she had no complaints.
Imagine someone following you around asking you the same question over and over....
But she couldn't blame anybody but herself.
She knew there would be major consequences for taking that step with Chris but as always, she was tricked into believing something there wasn't. She heard he had moved out of Atlanta and moved to Miami since he was now a HEAT. She was actually proud of him and thought of every positive thing. She knew he could heal fast if he just had patience and thought positive.
She also heard Chris had a girlfriend and she could do nothing but wish them the best and think positive.
Miguel hasn't been seen since the night Chris punched him which was a good thing. But she came back to reality.
Chris was living his life and Sulem was living hers.
It was just for the best....

"And up." Sulem said as the other women followed her lead in doing an arch with the right leg with the rest of their body down in a hill like position.
"Switch." She said after they held that position for 20 seconds. The women followed as some went into small group conversation.
"So Sulem, What are you doing this Friday?" A woman by the name of Fiona asked.
"Nothin that I know of." She replied as she continued to stretch. "Why?"
Fiona and another woman by the name of Gina smirked, "Because we are going out and we are hooking you up." Gina spoke with so much excitement.
Her thing was to always hook up people with others and she felt the need to do that with Sulem.
"Oh, no." Sulem said quickly as she stopped stretching and began to roll her blue yoga mat up.
"Why? We're going to this new club and we have to check it out. I want one of those sexy men to try me." Gina said.
"Of course you would. Look, I would love to go out and have fun but I'm really just not in the feeling of going out on Friday. I really just want to sleep." Sulem said as she continued to get her things together.
"Oh, I get it." Another girl, Liane said inviting herself in the conversation. "It's because of that sexy Basketball player you dated."
Sulem stared at her for a moment before shaking her head. "No."
Scoffing, Liane continued. "So what is it?"
"Why do you really want to know?" Sulem snapped a bit. Tension was rising which caused the other women to come around them.
"Because your uptight. You need to get loose. I heard about you, Miss Calderon. You was a therapist to a professional basketball player and you slept with him knowing the consequences. You must have been real desperate to get attention."
"Stop, Liane!" Fiona snapped.
Sulem felt her blood boil as she tried to remain calm. She was sick of everybody assuming her to be some girl who sleeps with her patients just to satisfy them or get privileged.
"I'm just stating facts."
"You don't know anything. Who are you to be judging me. You don't even know me well enough to even judge. Yes, I admit I did sleep with a professional basketball player and yes, he so happened to be my patient. I'm just a woman who's trying to make up for her mistakes because what we did could have cost me my job and thank God it didn't. I'm sick of everyone thinking I had s*x with him because I wanted some fvcking attention. Believe all the damn rumors you want because they are not true." Sulem snapped never taking her eyes off Liane. She took in a breath before looking at the group of women that surrounded the scene.
"I'll see you ladies tomorrow." She said before walking off.
Liane rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. Fiona and Gina looked at her with disgust before catching up with Sulem.
"Don't let what she says get to you. She's always been like that."
"Hateful, Bitter, Disrespectful ?"
"Yes but it's alright."
Sulem plastered a fake smile on her face before saying. "It's alright. I'll see you tomorrow." She got in her car and headed to her sister house.
She needed to vent
Chris ran his fingers through his now blonde hair as he continued to look over at the greenish black door.
He's been in the car for about twenty minutes debating if he should go in and talk to her. He just wanted to make things right and hope they make sense.
He did not to continue down the path he was going. So he made it his priority to talk to her before he left.
Finally he accept of becoming a HEAT and he had to move to Miami. Everyone was happy for him.
Finally coming to a decision, he got out the car and walked up to the door. He took in a sharp breath before knocking on the door.
Moments later, Tasha opened her door and was a bit shocked to see him standing on her doorstep.
"What are you doing?"
"We need to talk." He sighed.
Tasha hesitated for a moment before finally opening the door wider for him to enter. He looked around and saw the unfinished green walls and some dust on the hard wood floor that looked to be unfinished.
"Um, just have a seat on that couch." She pointed to the cream colored couch that sat up against the wall.
Taking a seat, Tasha followed suit, sitting next to him. Chris scooted back some, giving them a certain amount of space.
There was nothing but silence for a moment until Chris began to speak. "I'm moving to Miami." He said which caused Tasha's heart to break.
If he's in Miami then she would be no longer close to him. It was probably because that b***h, She thought.
"W-Why are you telling me this? I thought you different want anything to do with me."
Chris nodded slowly, "I don't want anything to do with you but that doesn't mean that I don't care about you." He explained.
"So you and Sulem, huh?"
Beautiful woman he missed so much....
"No..." Chris frowned.
"It was her or was it you?"
"It was me and I regret everyday. But I'm not trying to get sidetracked." He said before finally saying what he needed to say to her.
"You deserve somebody better than me. You might think I ended things just because of a one time thing but you could be any more wrong. I was more focused on my career than having a woman on my shoulder. But the day you actually took it far when you killed the innocent girl that you assumed I was sleeping with and who was actually a friend of my sister."
Tasha gazed off and sighed.
"I still regret doing that" she mumbled.
Chris phone went off and he knew it was time for him to go. He exhaled sharply and grabbed her hand which caused her to look his way.
"Don't be stuck on me, Tasha. Your a beautiful woman with a good personality and I want you to find a better man than me."
Tasha felt her eyes water as she listened to him. He was right. She took in everything he said.
She glanced up at him as she wiped her eyes. "A last time hug before you go." She smiled weakly.
Chris nodded. Tasha gripped his shirt as she held on to him. Knowing he would never see her again.
That's what he thought....
She smirked in her head
She pulled away as he got up off the couch. He glanced at her one last time before walking out her house.
Tasha looked at her closed door Chris had just walked out of. Tasha let out a short laugh as she couldn't believe it.
"He really bought that s**t!"
She pulled out her phone and called Joel.
"Yeah"
"Plan in motion. Time to do your part." She smirked.
Just the beginning
