It had been a week since Joe had found his mate. The week had felt like years passing by. After she turned him down, she had hauled ass out of the parking lot. Joe had stood there starring after her a bit, dumbfounded and extremely irritated. He couldn’t believe his mate had just told him no. He knew she had felt their connection, whether she understood it or not.
