Chelsie threw on her yoga pants and t-shirt before giving herself one last look in the mirror. She had three more midnight shifts left before she was going on her long break. Since she was the board operator, she wouldn’t have to leave the control room the entire night. Those nights were her favorite because it meant she got to wear her comfy clothes instead of the heavy protective uniform the outside operators are required to wear.
She only lived five minutes from the plant so she jumped in her Jeep with ten minutes to spare before shift change.
