Chapter 2: A encounter with someone special?
BEEP. BEEP. BEEEEP. Hiacho wakes up groggily and shuts his alarm off. It’s five in the morning, which is why he had to make sure he didn’t wake his family up. Hiacho goes to his bathroom, and reaches for his toothbrush when he gets a glimpse of his face. His face was a complete disaster. Black circle hell, in other words. He barely got any sleep, and he was constantly studying, both day in and day out. He stares at his reflection for a few seconds, trying to figure out how the hell he was supposed to get girls. If he even wanted the ugliest of them, he would have to look like John Wick without the goatee, and he was farther than that than the distance between the sun and moon, and that’s when you know it’s bad. And this was all for the ugliest one in school. And he was aiming for the second prettiest one.
“Ok, John, Addy, put your bags in the trunk now, come on”. Hiacho watched as they put their bags in the back of the car, and once they were done, he closed it with a loud slam. Their car was alright, as it functioned the way it was supposed to except for the trunk not being able to shut lightly. One had to slam it like they would slam their desk after losing to some 9 year old on COD for it to close. It was annoying, but not borderline unusable. Hiacho had become their personal chauffeur after his dad married another woman. He hated his dad more than anything, and he swore to get his revenge by being the best kid he could possibly be for his mother and siblings. But that was pretty difficult, because his life was s**t hard to live, what with work, school, dropping off his siblings to school, homework, personal things. It was a crazy ride, and he didn’t want to ride any second of it. At least, not the busy parts.
He dropped his younger siblings off to Elementary school, after waving to them with a friendly, “Have fun you two!”, and then drove to Vision. Visions’ campus was extraordinary, 20x bigger than any normal highschool, and 100x bigger than their house. And their house wasn’t that small, which is how you know it’s the real thing. Waterfalls, fountains, 4 libraries that spanned 2 canals each, it was a beauty. And, of course, the school themselves never stopped appreciating themselves. Ego always desires more ego, he thought.
As he got out of his car, he saw them: six of the prettiest girls in the entire school, sitting outside and..watching his car come closer? No, no way; there was no way that they were waiting for him, right? After all, he was just the average looking nerd who was always eating his lunch alone. But, as he came even closer, he realized that they were waiting for him, as he could see them visibly waving to him, all wearing joyous expressions on their faces. And then he saw her. The shy yet gorgeous looking teen, the one of his dreams, looking at him shyly and giving him a simple wave that spoke volumes for him. He started blushing fiercely, not knowing what to do when the prettiest girl interacts with you. As he neared the entrance, he had to make a choice; Should he run or should he go to them, the six most popular girls in the entire school? He thought about all the times he wanted to go close to her, talk to her, but he never got the chance. But now the universe was giving him one, and was he going to deny it? In the end, after much debate, he gathered up his courage, stepped out of the car, and made his way to the group of six.
