Vyrion feelings for vordelia?
so it's true that vyrion's love is just an illusion to him?
corale clenched her fists.
touch ... gaze ... care ... sweet whispers full of love vyrion not for him all this time?
that's what vordelia wanted to say?
"no!" corale screamed shaking her head refusing to accept what she was saying, "you must be lying! you're fake! just my imagination!" he pointed hard, uncontrollably intending to attack, but ended up falling to the floor helpless as vordelia dodged him using teleportation.
why?
corale's eyes looked at his palms in despair.
why when he needed it, his power didn't come out?
when he wanted to claim himself to be the real vordelia, he couldn't?
"i don't want any bloodshed between us, corale," vordelia said, "i understand it's hard for you to accept this, but the facts remain the same. we are different."
corale didn't listen, kept trying to use her strength to prove herself to be the real one, but the result was still the same. finally, he slowly realized that he was just an ordinary human.

'it's over.'
there's no point fighting for something that's wrong.
corale sends a message to gabriel, asking for news and wanting to continue their agreement which was interrupted due to a sudden attack.
now he was a nobody, so he could focus on himself.
no need to worry about vyrion.
corale tilted her head to stare sadly at the second floor where her room was.
vyrion already has vordelia.
corale will only hurt herself if she keeps fighting.

gabriel couldn't pick him up because he was busy, zoe, who happened to be visiting him, intended to take coral to his father's house.
corale tried not to move much from the living room in order to avoid running into the vordelia that kept clinging to the vyrion.
vyrion seems to understand, and never emerges from the room, only vega does his maid duty, preparing tea for zoe.
zoe herself wanted to see vyrion whom they had not met yet, but the sad expression on corale's face dampened all her spirits, while waiting for a taxi, she was just talking about normal things.
then it all becomes clear when they intend to leave, vyrion appears in the end only to watch corale go.
zoe seeing vordelia clinging to vyrion understands that they are no ordinary friends.
"miss corale, you can come back any time. remember?" vega asked, "you are always welcome here."
corale just turned her face away. he had thought of the castle as his second home, but not anymore.
"i really hope we can meet again," vega added sadly not getting an answer, "but i understand you need some time to yourself."
corale is glad vega isn't putting too much pressure on her. after all the incidents that happened, maybe they could be best friends without a problem, "thank you. you take good care of yourself, vega."
"you too, miss corale," vega said.
corale once again carved a small smile before going into the taxi, she took a few deep breaths, then ventured to look at vyrion.
they would never meet again, at least he wanted to see vyrion's face one last time.
vyrion's facial expression was the same as the first time they had met, calm and unreadable.
corale was satisfied to see him, he wouldn't have to cry if vyrion put on a sad expression to keep him here.
what for?
vyrion has found his true love that has been separated for hundreds of years.
corale took another deep breath.
and there was no way he could destroy it.

"okay, what happened between you two?"
zoe immediately asked as the taxi walked away from the castle. so many questions running through his head while watching corale and vyrion not chatting at all.
corale shook her head weakly.
"don't lie. there can't be nothing if your facial expression is as if expecting vyrion to stop you from leaving the castle," zoe criticized while rolling her eyes, "the last time we met you were so happy! vyrion too."
corale still refuses to talk about the problem, "nothing, really. i was just hoping for something that wasn't possible in the first place."
"does this have something to do with the woman who keeps clinging to vyrion?" zoe guessed, "she's the woman you talked to me about, right?"
now, corale can no longer dodge. her rant about her fear that she wasn't vordelia came true. he could only nod weakly.
"seriously. does that mean they're married?" zoe asked.
marry?
as far as memories so far show, corale did not find vyrion and vordelia married, maybe because their relationship was forbidden from the start, there was no intention to continue breaking it.
the king has acted and decided regarding vyrion and vordelia's relationship after all.
"then, you should still go after vyrion!"
"zoe!?"
"what?" zoe put on her innocent face "as long as no vows come out of vyrion's mouth, he can still change his feelings for you, corale!" he gives advice regardless of the outcome, his only goal is to see his best friend happy.
corale shook her head vigorously, "bad idea."
"how can that be? i'm sure before that woman came back, you two loved each other, didn't you?" zoe asks demandingly, disliking corale's pessimistic attitude, "you think i'm blind?"
corale clenched her fist on her thigh. yes they loved each other, but vyrion's feelings at that moment were for vordelia not for him—corale. although he never once called her vordelia, that didn't include his love for her.
what's more, he saw the struggle of vyrion wanting to be with vordelia forever. how could he destroy that sincere dream?
"i can't," corale mumbled, "i'm a nobody."
"no one? he himself gave you a sign of love!" zoe argues, "corale, keep fighting! leave that woman alone! just chase your love like there's no tomorrow—"
"stop it!" corale interrupts before zoe affects him any further, "you don't know what's going on, so please don't interfere. please." he wanted quiet right now, and vyrion was no part of that.
zoe gasped at a loud snarl, and looked down glumly at what corale had said. it's true he doesn't know anything, he acts with what he knows only "i just hate to see you give up so soon, corale. don't you think that you deserve vyrion too?"
corale chose to remain silent about it.
