An Unforgettable Night

Suddenly Vyrion pounded the table, making everyone shocked by it.

Vyrion face was red, his eyes were fixed on Vega, Corale could think that she understood what 'the truth potion' was that Vega was talking about so he looked angry.

“Have you lost your mind? That potion is under dangerous list,” Vyrion snapped, “there's dangerous for a reason, and you ...” he frowned in frustration at Vega's overreaction, “that boy Altair too.” He didn't believe this.

“But… it didn't affect the first time you drank it,” Vega defended herself, tears starting to cover her eyes because she couldn't take Vyrion's screams, “that's why I used it again because it was successful before.”

“Don't lie,” Vyrion warned, his patience at the highest level now hearing her nonsensical ramblings, “what would I use that for? You think I'm that low?"

"But you are," Vega whimpered sadly.

Since Vyrion lost his memory, it was normal for him to refuse to admit it.

It was a sweet memory for Vega himself, showing how deep Vyrion love was to do it. She smiled sadly at the memory.

“I don't want to hear another lie,” Vyrion sighed, disconcerted by Vega's actions, “I will report this to Heavens.”

Vega was taken aback and hastily grabbed Vyrion's arm, holding him off. She felt like crying seeing the look of hatred in his ruby eyes, “You can't, Vyrion. You're being punished. Remember?"

“I swear if you talk nonsense again—”

"No! I'm not lying to you! You can prove it if you don't believe it,” Vega interrupted, unable to continue being called a liar.

"Heavens?" Corale muttered nervously. Is it what she thinks she is? To her knowledge, Heavens was the abode of the Gods. She does not fully believe it because it is only considered a myth.

"You want to come too?" Vyrion asked softly, "I will be very happy if so, being away from you makes my heart uneasy, I can't think of anything other than you, your situation."

"Unfortunately, humans are forbidden to go there, too much pressure can crushed Miss. Corale body," Vega explained, "though you will fail to open Heaven's door if you insist."

“C-crushed…” Corale stuttered.

“I won't let that happen to you,” Vyrion claimed quickly to dispel Corale's fear, “it's true what Vega said. I hope one day I can take you to Heavens, it's wonderful there.”

Corale didn't respond.

Why did Vyrion hope sound familiar? As if she'd heard it before?

And …

This warm feeling inside her heart was so strange …

“I-I think I need some fresh air,” Corale said, “excuse me.” She continued, walking hastily past Vyrion and Vega to not get in her way.

Blam.

Corale spent her time alone in the castle's central flower garden.

It's beautiful here, many kinds of flowers are here from roses to the rare ghost orchid.

These rare flowers weren't supposed to be here or grow here, but given Vyrion and Vega's mysterious powers, she was sure they did something to the flowers to make them grow here.

'This is unbelievable.'

Corale can't enjoy being alone because she keeps getting pictures of herself from Victor.

How obsessed he is.

Vyrion's actions were also almost the same as Victor's now.

Vyrion continued to take the initiative to accompany her, wanting to comfort her out of love.

Corale continues to refuse politely but starts to get uncomfortable about this. She hoped that Vega would soon find an antidote so she could be free again.

'Maybe I should ask Vega for help.'

Corale went back inside calling out Vega's name with every step she took, but no matter how many efforts she stepped into the castle, there was no answer.

Vega doesn't seem to be back yet.

Back to being alone with Vyrion.

Corale was uncomfortable with that. She needed something to distract her.

For some reason Corale expected Gabriel to come here to continue the tutor who had stopped. Hope that won't happen because Vyrion has taken care of Gabriel.

'Well! Cheers up, Corale~! Tomorrow you already have activities outside the castle~!'

This made Corale excited, wondering if Zoe would want to accompany her around campus and meet new friends.

'I have to start preparing the files.'

Corale immediately went to her bedroom, humming happily. She had time to think in the middle of why Vyrion was not visible at all, but she quickly brushed it off because of more freedom for her.

“Welcome home~!”

The moment Corale opened the door to her room, she was greeted sweetly by Vyrion's soft voice, not only that, he also hugged her without permission, unlike usual.

“I feel better now~!” Vyrion claimed while rubbing his cheek against Corale, "you have no idea how much it hurts not to be near you."

"O-oh yeah?" Corale asked amidst the embarrassment of being hugged tightly like this, moreover Vyrion's warm breath on her neck was slightly ticklish.

“Yes,” Vyrion confirmed his feelings so Corale would no longer try to avoid him, “like a plant that needs sunlight to survive. That's how I feel for you."

Corale just let out a clumsy laugh.

Now, she must listen to his poetic words?

It wasn't that Corale didn't like him, it was all due to a mistake that pulled her back to the fact that the one hugging her body wasn't the real Vyrion, “Hm, you know, there are some women who don't like men who are too forward when showing love to them. Like touching for example."

"You don't like this?" Vyrion asked in a whisper which made Corale blush, "You're adorable right now."

Corale gripped Vyrion's hand tightly, keeping her to stay 'awake' here. Once again, a strange feeling of longing rose in her heart so that her body unconsciously no longer allowed any distance between them but leaned against his firm chest, asking quietly for more touch.

Corale's heart wanted it more than this...

'What do I do?'

Corale wasn't in love with Vyrion, but she was acting like she was now.

There's a deep part in her heart she doesn't understand, and takes control whenever there's an intense atmosphere between them.

Like now, Corale didn't protest when Vyrion picked her up and carried her to a bed covered in red rose petals...
