— The Village —
“What was all that? It felt so real” Judy wondered holding her dead as she felt dizzy. Opening her bag to find something to eat, she saw the medium sized egg.
“don’t worry, I won’t be eating you” she softly said with a smile. The girl put the egg aside on the ground to have more space to look through her stuff, after a couple of minutes of search, she finally found some biscuits “just what I needed”. After eating, and hydrating herself, she tidied her stuff and got out of the cave and took a path after marking the tree right next to it.
To be sure it was not just a dream and that it was really all real Judy pinched herself on the forearm “ouch!” as a response, the part she pinched immediately reddened.” No dream this time, good”
Continuing her way and making sure not to pass by the same road twice Judy had gotten far and tie had passed. It was currently the afternoon and the sun had already started to set down. She felt she had travelled a great deal of ground already and at that time, she just hoped she could contact Clay to ask him about the way she had to take.
She came in deep into the forest already and since the there was no more light from the sun, therefore it was hard for her to find her way around the dark forest. She then decided to spend the night.
She made some fire after gathering some fallen branches and twigs. Judy took out her picture book, read a bit and fell asleep right after.
The next morning Judy woke up to the song of birds chirping and sun rays on her face. Stretching herself first thing after getting up she feels much better then the day before. The fire Judy had lit up the previous night had died down long ago so she just packed her things and left in a random direction that was not marked.
After some real good walking tiredness kicking in she came across a small cliff from which she spotted a run down looking village.
“finally! Haha! Yes! I will ask my way there!” an overjoyed and excited Judy let out.
Carefully descending from the said cliff, she started running towards the village, not paying attention to anything else on the way.
In front of the gates, she tried to read the name of the village written on the sign board held by wooden columns but it was a hopeless attempt as the most of the letters were erased from the weather and some were just the shadow of what they were before.
Gulping, the young girl crossed the gate and set foot into the unknown village. She looked everywhere at the same time, turning her neck in every direction possible, she was so surprised, most of the houses were in wood and some of them were so much in bad shape while others were just destroyed with broken glass on the floor.
Passing through the village, looking at every possible thing she noticed that she had not yet even come across a single soul, how come? Was the place deserted? Or were they in hiding? And if Si? From what? Her?
“hellooo ! Anybody here?”
“I’m just passing” she shouted again
Upon entering the place, Judy had went straight since, she didn’t want to get lost now. But she came at the end of the corridor and was now in front of a bar.
What better place to look for information if not in a bar? Let’s just hope it is not empty like the rest of the village seems to be.
