"What is this?" I frowned deeply when Pia handed me an invitation.
"An invitation card for Mr. Brixton and Cristia Ford's engagement," she replied quickly. "You're so focused on your work that you don't have time to gossip with us anymore. That's why you don't know the latest news about the company and our boss," she added with a smile.
A large hand seemed to squeeze my heart when I heard Pia's words. I immediately opened the invitation card and discovered that Pia was telling the truth. It was indeed an invitation to Axel and Cristia's engagement party.
