I scanned my surroundings to look for Axel but I couldn't see him where he was standing earlier. I didn't know where he went.
I rubbed my arms as if it would reduce the heat I felt in my body. I'm sure I was drugged. That waiter drugged the wine before he gave it to me.
I walked to the side and leaned against the wall. I closed my eyes but immediately opened them when I remembered I had a cell phone. I could call Axel and have him come to where I was. Why didn't I think of that sooner?
I hurriedly rummaged for my cell phone inside the pouch I was carrying. With trembling hands, I searched for Axel's name in my phone book and immediately called him. But just as I pressed the call button, someone bumped into me, causing my cell phone to fall.
