Damian pov back at Crucifix

I agreed to everything that the vampire proposed in the new bill just to make the time go by faster so I can  see her again my Bata brought up some issues on the border line that needed to be addressed but other than that it was a quick process lasting about twenty minutes.

I heard a tap coming from the speakers above us,

“ Are you ready to rock?” a velvety voice followed.

“ Lets pick this back up after the show, besides were going to need her to sign as well” Lord Cole said we only had a few signatures left but my attention turned when he said her

“Is she the witch you mentioned before? She's the lead singer of your house band?” I spoke softly witches hadn’t yet made there selves known to human kind, so I figured her presence would be a secret. He nodded slowly then gestured his head to the next room

“She’s quite a sight on stage. You can tell she loves it. And id rather not miss it” he started to the next room as the song started not waiting for me at all.

I recognized the song instantly it was Thunder by ACDC . I turned back to Troy

“Shall we?’ I asked getting out of our booth Troy scooting out behind me

“Lead the way” he gestured to where the crowd of people are. I walked ahead of him going around the people to the back of the room standing next to Cole who was leaning agents the wall with his arms crossed. It looked like he was entranced with the show on the stage. When I turned to see what he was looking at I could easily see why. My mate was smiling the most sincere and brightest smile I have ever seen that light up the whole room. Her voice put angels to shame as she sang her heart out. Pouring everything into her performance you could see by the look of her eyes that she truly loved what she was doing. Dancing up and down the stage, head banging she gave her all with each song. When the last song ended I was both sad that it was over but excited to be able to talk to her

Now my chance I thought as I stalked to the stage. People moving out of my way scared my alpha aura must be present but I don’t care. I watch her turn on her feet and grab the hand of one of the band mates. He looked down to her and up at me. He smirked and draped his arm around he shoulder ushering her away from me.

“ Your place tonight?” he asked her smugly

“sure’’ she giggled it was music to my ears I stopped in my tracks watching them. My heart shattered my mate was going with another man. Doesn’t she know how much I love her? Id give her the world all she had to do was ask. She glanced back to me a hint of remorse in her face. I saw that as hope.

Mine! my wolf growled

I turned on my heal and rushed out the entrance, pushing down anyone who didn’t move out of the way. When I reached outside, I sniffed the air until I caught her intoxicating smell. I narrowed my eyes down to her and the human she was with. He looked up and met my gaze before dragging her to a maroon jeep wrangler. Without a second thought I started to chase after them but they sped off before I could reach it. I let out a Howell in pain. She left with another man.

“Damian!’’ Troy jogged up to me

“I asked around about you mate, and for starters that human she was with, not her boyfriend she doesn't have one and as far as I can tell she hates Men.” My heart sunk

“She's gay? That’s worse! “ I yelled at him

“What? No, I mean she’s just mean to guys” he rolled his eyes

“ I found her f*******: too” he held out his phone showing me the profile I reached for it and he snatched it away. I growled

“Business first.” He pressed his lips into a firm line “I can't believe I'm the reopenable one for once.” I growled again before following him inside

We reached our booth to see Cole frowning it his phone. 

“It looks like Ayame wont be joining us we’ll have to make another appointment to add her.” Cole spoke with out looking at us he put his phone face down

“I will never understand the humans obsession with their offspring” he grumbled

“offspring?” I parroted

“yeah her offspring has a fever and had to leave early” he sighed and pulled out a black pen. He began signing his part then handed the document over to me to do the same.

“Great so same day and time next week” Cole asked clearly ready to get it over with I nodded and stood from my seat. We both shook and went our separate ways. I turned to Troy with my hand out

He rolled his eyes before handing me the phone. I felt like a kid getting candy. I smiled wide. Scrolling through her photos I see that she has not one kid but two, twins. That doesn't even matter to me, I'd love them just as much as I love her. I see pictures of her and that human making silly faces. This made me angry. I hadn’t realized that I was moving without thinking when we need up at my car.

“you driving?” Troy asked wile standing in front of The car I dug the keys from my pocket and threw them at him without looking up from my phone and strolled over to the passenger side of the car.

“ok then” he mumbled before getting into the driver side

I decided to look up her name on white pages and sure enough her address came up and it wasn’t to far from here. I looked up to see where we where.

“Turn left up here” I directed Troy

“Why?” he asked before glancing at the phone

“I need to see her” I shrugged trying to be cool

“Dude she's going to think you’re a stalker were not going there for your own good” I growled at his response

 “Remember she's not a wolf so she doesn't feel the pull like we do you got to take this slow. Or your going to scare her off.” I sighed if anyone knew how to handle this it was Troy. His mate was a human and he scared her off. She rejected him. It was the saddest I've ever seen him. So I decided to trust his input.

“Alright then Casanova, what do you suggest?” I asked sarcastically

His lips formed in a straight line

“Send her flowers?” he asked thoughtfully

“It’s a start I guess” I mumbled but I still wanted to see her. I went to a website that delivered flowers 24/7 I couldn't decide what to get so I got  various flowers and a note,

A flower for every time I thought of you.
