*The Party* Chapter 6

Rain's p.o.v

We arrived at the packhouse and I was still upset at what happened. Thank the moon goddess I'm a werewolf, and I healed where I was bleeding even though I can tell I was bleeding. I got out of the car and looked at Curly and Moe and other than me being a brat I said thank you to them and started walking off, but stopped and turned to them.

"Hey what are your names, neither of you corrected me this whole time?" I ask them they both look at me like I have an extra head on my shoulders.

Moe started first, "Well princess my name is Ben". then "Curly said my name is Jeremy princess."

Ok thank you, Ben and Jeremy, for the help, also I want to apologize for the way I have been acting towards you, and with that, I walked off.

I am still upset and have dried tears in my eyes, I walk into the packhouse with Ben and Jeremy behind me. We see my dad as he was in the dining room with a bunch of pack members. I head to my room as fast as I could.

"Hey sweetheart how was your day?" he asked me, but I just kept going and Ben and Jeremy stopped to talk to him probably talking to him about what happened with Maddie.

I reach my room and shut my door, I turn to my bed and see the most beautiful dress I saw it was a halfway cut shoulder dress with silk lace, the top of the dress was sparkling black, while the bottom was knee-high and was red with a black design. I turned happy and smiled. Then I heard my phone make a noise it was a text from Jackson.

text message:

Jackson: Hey I am just texting to see how you were holding up?

Me: I'm fine I've healed thank you for checking on me.

Jackson: That's good to hear, I um was wondering if you wanted to hang out tomorrow?

me: Yea sure that sounds great.

Jackson: Ok how about we go to the park?

Me: That sounds good pick me up at 2:00

Jackson: ok see you then.

Me: Ok bye dad wanted me to get ready for something by 5:00.

Jackson's p.o.v

After texting Rain I go to get ready, I hope she got the dress I asked for. As I go to my bathroom I hear a knock on the door. Yea who is it I'm trying to get ready, then I hear a voice. Hey, son, I need to talk to you can I come in.

Yea, dad you can come in, I tell him as I am getting my clothes out.

Hey, son, I wanted to talk to you about Rain.

What about her? I ask my dad as he looks emotionless.

Well you do know that she isn't, then I cut him off

Isn't going to be 18 for another 5 months, yes I know dad

"So what are you going to do about it Jackson", he asked me

I sat for a minute, well dad I'm damn sure not going to reject her how would you think she would feel once she turns 18 and finds out all along that I am her mate and I rejected her before she finds out? What I am going to do is try my hardest to befriend her and then try to get us to become closer. I can't see her with anyone but me. Just thinking about it hurts me and pisses me off.

Ok, son, I will let alpha Markus know what your plans are, then he got up and walked out of my room. And I headed to the shower.

alpha Calvin's p.o.v

I walked out of Jackson's room, feeling bad for my son that he has his mate but she doesn't even know she has one. Seeing him hurt and lonely without his mate hurts. But I have to do what's important.

Hello, alpha Markus I'm letting you know about what Jackson is going to do about Rain.

Hello alpha Calvin, and what is he intending to do about this situation?

Well, he said that he is going to try to become friends with her first and then try to get them to become closer together. He does not intend on rejecting her.

Well, that sounds like a good plan alpha Calvin, but he does know he will eventually have to tell her the truth right?

Yes, I know but for right now let's worry about the treaty first if that is ok with you? I also wanted to ask if it is ok if Jackson signs also due to him being the next alpha to my pack in 5 months?

Yes, why not I mean he will be the next alpha but with that being said we will also have to figure something out about my pack seeing as though Rain is my only child and I do not have someone next in line. But that can be handled at a later date, but it is almost that time I am going to make sure everything is all set for the party.

Rain's POV

Now it is time to see why daddy wanted me to be here at 5, so I headed downstairs to see my dad dressed in a black button-up and a pair of dress pants. Hey daddy, I say to him.

Hey, honey, you look beautiful, we have a party to attend so are you ready to go?

Yes, daddy but what is this party for anyway?

It's a party for the treaty tonight.

What treaty I asked him as we walk out of the packhouse.

The treaty to become allies with the Red Stone pack.

Oh ok thanks for letting me know, but why didn't you and uncle Jake tell me this from the beginning you made it seem like a secret?

As we drive I'm just thinking to myself that it's cool that I will be able to see Izzy whenever I want since she has to leave our pack and is moving to the Red Stone pack. I was knocked out of my thoughts when dad said that we were there. My dad and uncle get out of the car and once again Jackson came and reached his hand out to help me out of the car.

Hey, Jackson how are you even though we saw each other earlier?

"I'm great are you ready to party princess", he says to me.

I laugh due to knowing how my pack parties, yes I am.

As we walk towards the section where we all have to sit I see Izzy smiling like she just got a new doll. She walked over to me and hugged me. Did you hear about what's going on? I asked her. "yea I was told, so what do you think about it", she asked me. I think it's great, We don't need a war it's been peaceful since the last one plus I will be able to see you I say with a smile. I headed to my side which is on a stage next to my dad. Our pack is on one side. Alpha Calvin is on a stage at the other side with his luna and Jackson sitting next to him with his pack on his side.

Alpha Markus's P.o.v

Hello, fellow pack members of the Silver Wing pack and Red Stone pack we are all here to unite both packs in a treaty. Between us, the reason is we are two territories away from each other. I also want you to know that our fellow pack member Isabell Marie Clarks (Izzy) will be moving to the Red Stone pack due to her finding her mate. But furthermore, I think alpha Calvin has something he wants to say.

Alpha Calvin's p.o.v

Hello, all I just wanted to add that in five months I will be handing my position to my son Jackson so as we sign the treaty he will be doing so as well. As for your alpha of the Silver Wing pack he has agreed to this so there are no misunderstandings. Now let's proceed with the treaty.

Rain's p.o.v

As my father and Alpha Calvin speak I'm just sitting there in my chair looking around when my train of thought was snapped out by hearing my name from my father and my uncle. I look at them and they smile, they ask me to come up to the podium.

Yes father, is everything ok? I ask him

"Yes, sweetheart, I want to announce one more thing honey". he tells me

I Alpha Markus Davis Summers is having my daughter Rain Emma Summers sign this treaty due to her being my only child and I do not have anyone else to give the position to, now if she finds her mate they would have to combine the packs together as one if her mate is an alpha. So with that said Rain can you please sign the book honey? I nod my head with a smile.

I notice my father looking over at Jackson for some reason but I paid no mind to it. After I signed the book I mind-linked my father and ask if that means I am the soul hair of the pack now. No dear you will become Luna of this pack two days after your 18th birthday. I then nod and smile. re

I Rain Emma Summers will promise that I will be the best luna that you ask for. With that being said let's party until our hearts are content. I then walk off the stage toward my father and my uncle. I then look at my father and asked him couldn't he just give my uncle the position? No Rain it has to be you and two months before your birthday you will be training with me, your uncle, and soon-to-be alpha Jackson just to get you ready. Um ok, daddy I will be waiting for that time. After that my father walks away to talk to the pack members.

Hey Rain! I hear someone yell my name it was Jackson

No, I didn't it's just as much news to me as it is to you. But I do want to say you look gorgeous tonight though.

Ok, I was just asking, and thank you I have no idea where this dress came from though it was on my, bed I'm going to ask my dad if he got it for me. "There is no need for that Rain". he says to me

Yea, but would you like to dance with me? he asked me.

Jackson's p.o.v

Yea, I'll dance with you Jackson, she replies to my question. I walk her towards where everyone is dancing, and all of a sudden the music changed from fast to slow. I stop and look at her. Is everything ok Jackson? Yea everything is ok it's just that you are very beautiful if you don't mind me telling you? no that's fine thank you. We dance for what feels like a lifetime. Then we stop and I ask her if she wanted a drink. "Yea that would be nice, thank you". she says.

Ok, I'll be right back with our drinks, I let her know.

I get back to her and I see some pack members talking to her getting very close and she seemed to be overwhelmed by them being around her. Then I see some guy with his hand on her lower back. I look around to see my father and alpha Markus looking at me and then they nod and my father mind-links me. Alpha Markus says you can handle it due to it being our pack members. So I walk to her and I growl at them mainly the one with his hand on my mate.

If you do not walk away and leave the princess alone you will regret it do you understand me. I yell at them. they bow and nod at me say sorry alpha.

Are you ok princess I ask and she looks a little frighted and confused.

I'm sorry princess if I scared you please forgive me?

Oh um, yes... yes I'm ok and it's fine I'm just going to go to the lake for a little bit, she tells me. and walks off.

Rain's p.o.v

He scared me with his voice I mean he made me even whimper, I've heard an alpha's voice before but this was different. My only thought was that I needed to get away from him as fast as I could.

Hey Rai, you ok? why are you over her alone? Izzy asked me

Oh um, I wanted to be alone for a while that's all. Have you ever been scared of something or someone to where you just have to get away from them? I ask her

Well um, yea I have, what is this all about Rain? she asked me, she's my best friend I can tell her anything so why is it so hard for me to tell her what's wrong.

It's about Jackson; he used his alpha voice, which frighted me. I mean I've heard an alpha's voice before but he seems stronger and more powerful.

Well I can let you know one thing, that he would never hurt you, she tells me

Because he likes you he told me his self that's how just give the guy a chance if you want I can talk to him for you if you want? I get home and head to my room, I get ready to take my shower to try and ease my mind of what had happened. I didn't mean to hurt him, it's just that he frightened me. I then I head back to my room next thing I know I'm feeling pain in my body not knowing what to do so I mind-link my dad.

Ahhhhh. what is happening it hurts, then my father, my uncle, and Jackson along with his father come running into my room.

What's wrong with her alpha Markus, I hear Jackson ask

Oh um, she's shifting we have to get her outside NOW. my dad states

Yes, you heard me correctly, she has the blood of her mother but also mine, I know that you always wondered why her eyes are purple that's because she is a very rare werewolf.

I didn't know if she would carry her mother's genes but the way it seems she has I just thought she was late shifting but I see why. Her mother's pack they all start shifting at the age of 17 during a full moon which means that what's going on now. We have to get her outside, Jackson picks her up and heads outside.

I feel myself being lifted and ran down the stairs not caring that I don't have any clothes on all I feel is pain.
