Liv
Light finally coming through. We make it through my dark abyss. I look around to find myself in a long semi dark hall. A hand touches my shoulder and I turn quick to pin them to the wall. My eyes red as I flash my fangs.
My mate smirks at me. A small spark of erotic line between. "If we won't still piss at you. I would.."
I let him go and shh him. "Where are you?" I called out.
Travis ask what's going on. I ignore him as we walk down. The hall seems to never end. I grew tired and shouted again. Waiting. Waiting for this game of hers to end.
"Oh I see he finally caught you. Ha. Thought it took longer." We turn and she comes into view. Travis in full confusion. He looks back and forth from us both.
"We made a deal. Last time. Now come on." I demanded.
She swipe her body to Travis, circling him. "Oh but do you really want our mate to see such chaos on the solely breath of ours?" She runs her fingers in his hair. He pulls back to stand next to me.
"What's going on? What the hell is this? What chaos?" He whispers to me. My eyes lowered.
"You see boys. I'm just the small part of Elizabeth." Her red eyes and fangs visible now. Travis looks back at us both. Unsure if he's mad or still confuse. "In our hands since birth things were prevented. But in an agony act our second breath will cause such changes. If you like..pick a door to answer.."
I step forward blocking Travis. "Enough with this mind games. He doesn't need a walk down of every Elizabeth. Nor does he need to get trap by you. Acting like you're a savior in his hand."
She laugh softly as her hand move back to her side. Doors all around with names display on them, vanish.
"His savior huh? Or can I say ours? I mean look at us." I speed to her in full rage to attack, she matches. "Wanting what's best is our death. Our lost will save them. His true mate, their real Luna, hell an actual daughter and friend will be awaken when we stop this game. I mean you did good with poor oh Mery." Her head tilt to the side to smile at Travis who glares. "Poor boys.. you'd been right. They need more and you can't even love them properly."
I go to sprang my hand up in lighting. She blocks a shield of earth. Cracking under her. I attack to rope her in. Thick thorns catch her. She pulls them off her leg. Blood pours out. She get up quick. But I form a water creature in a larger form to tramper her down. She throws her body over to prevent being crash or drowned. Her eyes turn red as her hands dig into the ground. A flow of color flowing up her arms.
"Stop it! Both of you!" Travis yell before we cause any hurt on each other. We both stop at our mates rage towards our action.
"Don't listen to her. This how she works." I tell him.
"Oh me?" She fakes sympathy. "Its's us. I'm you dear, you can't hide that."
Travis grip my arm, turning me to him. "What's the point in this? Fighting yourself you hate? Questioning our mate bond? What's the reflection of all this? Lying to me so you act as if you're okay? We know you're not. But this is the reason your nightmares are coming back! This is all because you push us. Even Mason worries you're hiding things. And he warn me. I defended you because I knew you won't do such an idiotic thing."
"Idiotic isn't the word." She chuckles.
"Shut the hell up before I strangle you!" He yells at her. She acts in muse to him. Blowing him a kiss.
We both ignore her. My wall broke as I see his pain. It's because of me. I try not to but all I did was cause him pain. "I cause too much. I don't need saving all the time.."
"It's not a bad word to ask for help!" He growls to me.
"It is to me!" He search my eyes. Playing with my fingers. A shot of sparks run to my heart. "For so long I had no one. When I did I always f****d it up. I come here for her to show me the truth of what will happen in the what if's."
"Baby." He locks our pinkies. "The point in all of this is fighting every battle together. We can't know the what if's. You don't know what we will miss out. But.." I look down in shame. He lift my head up with his thumb. "I wish we were better for you to trust in us. You hid in your Gamma's shipment instead of us. It should of been us. You don't need this. You're corrupting your mind state." Now interlocking all our fingers.
I gasp a small sob. "I needed to know. You don't understand the flashes of guilt I have for everything."
"I do understand. You just didn't know because you run here instead of us. It's suppose to be us baby." Squeezing my hands. I squeeze his back. Letting him know I understood too.
"I didn't want you to think you made a mistake. Everything of me and us as a mistake." I begin to tear up a bit.
Fuck I hate feeling this way. I hate making them feel this way more.
"You would be, and is. The heavenly best mistake we made." He leans to kiss me deeply as my arms land on his waist. "This is the last time you will be doing this. Next time I'll burn down the room and lock you upstair." He saying into our eyes.
I chuckle at his truthful threat. I nod. He looks up at the other Elizabeth. Holding me. "You made a deal with her. No more of this crap. Just show us whatever it is she's been needing to see."
"It's not one thing boys. It's many things. She has seen so much in so little lights. Even in darkness there's not much I can show. But.. I can give you this if you want. In the last visit we face. I'll show you if you want." I look up to him. Expecting him to back off and return back to the room. But he didn't, he agree to see my faith. "Fine. I warn you though."
She gives me a smug look. My body burns and I feel the pain seep through. "Your turn Elizabeth." She chuckles.
Ignoring her yet Travis looks down in horror. "What the hell! You're bleeding." He search my arms that seeps cuts all over. Blood pouring out. I wince to the touch. "It won't stop!"
I stare her down. Ignoring my mate. He was new to this but I wasn't. So I took the pain and waited. "Oh he cares." He yells for her to stop. Pleading to stop this manic. "Fine, fine. Since you ask cutie. I just had to prep you for what you can see." He looks up at me. Holding down my arms.
She turns away and the room is now back to the icy world where it all begins. Travis cups my face and ask if I'm okay. "I'm fine. But she's right. You needed to prepare yourself for what you may see." He nods at me. I give my mate a soft kiss on the lips. "Just pay attention to any details."
She quickly swipes her arms for the fading imagines to come. The sky blurs to sight. Twinkling to search.
"Goddess you are mad for putting yourself through this." Noticing the blood has stop. My skin bares as if they never existed. His hand plays up my arms to my shoulders. Shaking his head at the max of fury of emotions he gives me.
I nudge my head for him to notice the change. He turns to focus. He ask what it is. I say nothing. In quick flashes. Faces and buildings show. The laughing and screams mix in one. People run across. Beams of lights spark in horror. I scan to see a familiar building. I couldn't bear to see it in awful shape. A cry of a woman sits at its door.
"What's happening?" Travis asks again.
"Clarity? We need clarity for our questions." I tell him.
Switching she flies and hits the floor. Bodies run and jumps. Figures being thrown all around. Howls in sync. Cries and whining. A terrible shriek sends a cold chill down both our spines. Yet these don't seem to be a familiar sound. Their children cries. A pit sink as I thought horror plays. A soft sky blurs over us. Getting darker in seconds. A nice beam of sun touches our skin. In quick a cry for a child parent hits. Travis search for.
Wind of figures cross us. Beams of shadows cross over. "Play with me. Play with me." A soft voice says. Travis is in a light trance as he look. Seeing a little kid run pass him. Circling his. Another call for its mommy. Shadows all around. All different shapes. Possible they're children of all ages. "Mommy, daddy, mommy, daddy?" They pass by us both.
I see how in aw he is but this image sits wrongfully to me. He focus in the kids. Wanting to play. In the cute laugher and faces that blurs. While I see the tears and cracks in sight. Red eyes surrounded. Horror weeping in the back. I see drips of dirt or blood on the ground. Crumble of leaf through a dark trail.
"What a simple task to him, your mate. But can you bear to take that away from him." She whisper in my ear as I watch Travis carrying the figure that hugs him. He sees a woman in a room. Cooing a baby to sleep waving him to her. He follows to see a field. A celebration or a gather of some sort. Lights all around, it display colors of something else. A soft roar in the air.
"He's happy like this. I can do this here but can you do it out there?"
"This isn't what it is? It's not an rainbow." I gasp. My breath heavy as an aching pain hits my belly starts to grew.
"Baby look? It's our kids?" He calls in pure happiness.
"Wouldn't you love a pup to wonder the forest with?" She ask him. He nods as more happy confusion images play for him. He doesn't see the faults. He hopes for too many goods. I see the bad. The sky darken to a deep purple. Each shows different realms. It's not Earth. But he sees happiness in them all.
More cries as Travis read a story to a child. More yelling in shirk heard. "There's so many.." He says to himself. "Our family." He sees glimpse of parenthood. Bur it's unsure if it's true. If it's ours. Maybe just his.
"So easy. So good. But is this with you. His good." I pull my head away from her. "Your bad doesn't faze him. He is better when we are afar."
"Cut the s**t!" I shouted. Travis walk to me in question as the wind blows around. The child shadows calls again. As if they call to us. Calling him back to them. "They're children God damn it! Who will harm them?"
"You know too well anyone in desperation will go for the child. They're too easy as you were than. Just as naive as their sum protector." She laughs.
Taking a no, a figure cries as she burns in ashes.
"No. We, I can't allow.."
"You can't control any outcome fully. You been warn. The both of you." She reminds us.
Travis cups my face in mix of emotions. Yet mine in fear. "We can protect our kids if this is them. Everyone."
"Yes Travis. You see. Kids can not be all the desires. They corrupt us. You pick the dark or light of it." She coos in a ominous tone.
"But they're ours? Right?" He asked.
"She can't answer that." I tell him.
"I saw it. What else can it be?" I feel his need to know. I begin to hate all of this. He will yearn this need.
"Time as blood comes. The water fills in beams you can see. Warnings are the answers you need not wanted." She chants in a distances away.
Images flashes to black. Just a river of blood. Howls and unseen eyes in the back. A red light beams all round as a siren is heard. More of huffs heard. Horses or another creature. Wings flapping around. You heard their soft roars. Soft singing voices. Low weepers and pleads near. Travis holds me. Telling me it's okay. My body tense. Was as him. A small pain hits him. An animal noise loud. A child like voice. Unsure of emotions all around. Bodies of all kind and fields of home. Grass burn while flames ablaze.
"Goodbye my lovely. Death is not the worst." She says as she walks further away.
Travis turns me in wonders. "Elizabeth what does.."
I whisper the escape word. "Reditus." We leave the doom to welcome us back to reality.
Waking up Travis is hopeful while I am in sweats. "Baby you saw it. It's amazing. We're gonna have a family one day." He rants on while I collect my thoughts. Replaying it all.
"That's not what it means. It couldn't." I say in a whisper.
"Ohh baby." Swinging me around in such delight. I yelp for him to let go. "I can't wait. Can't you."
"Travis. It doesn't mean we will or won't. There was something else it was showing. And it didn't sit right." Holding my stomach at the idea. I walk out my cast.
Travis finally calms down on his high. Following me. "Okay relax. Maybe, maybe not. But its something. We just need to think it though."
I stop at the edge of my island. Holding on with my left hand. "Yeah. Think it through."
Seeing me in clutter. He walks in front of me. Taking my face in his hands. My mate leans in with his nose on mine. "I'm sorry I got caught up in that.."
"It's a fantasy that may never come true to you. At least not with me." My voice low in pain. He wiggle his nose over mine.
"What hell was that other stuff? Why can we feel all that agony? We need to do something?"
I peel him off of me. "That's the point." I say looking into his eyes. I take a seat down, taking deep breath. "They're not clear. Nor will it happen or won't. We felt the truth. Which means pain and death and more will happen to us. Those kids.."
"Our kids." He has claim them already. He accepted that hope already.
I close my eyes from yelling. "They're not real. She prey on your hopes while something was happening. But they're connected. I just..I just don't know how. That's the problem."
He leans down to his knees. Holding mine in his hands. "I don't want you doing this again. I remember reading something in your book. It said something about how too much or something too powerful can get you lost. Or trap. Either way it's dangerous. Promise us this stops, now." I couldn't say a word. I want to promise but my mouth wouldn't open. "Don't take my f*****g threat as a joke my Luna because I will burn this s**t to the ground while I f**k you on top of its ashes. Were musk in the rubbish with your juices and my c*m mix together." My eyes sprang up to him. My cheeks getting red. "With all the other stuff we will deal with it when it happens."
"When it happens?" I weep.
"When it happens. We can't control everything. Bad stuff happen and will happen to us regardless. But I don't want to fight it if you're not fighting with me." His hand cradle my thighs. "I don't doubt us. So please baby. Don't doubt us either. Talk to me. To us." Squeezing my thighs hard. Pleading for my promise.
"I can't promise that I can keep you happy. You deserve so much and all I showed is that I'm taken it from you. You'll hate me. I already hate myself for loving you so deeply." I confess to my mate.
"We deserve you baby. Your ambition to finding these answers is miraculous. But you don't have to do it alone. Ever. We don't expect perfection from you. Hell. We're not even close to perfection. If you only knew who we were before you. You wouldn't even be here. Being our mate will be shameful to you." His tone lower. I see how he fights his past too. I've been so selfish of my own guilt. Of my past. I forget about his.
I kiss him quickly. Letting his tongue taste my mouth. f**k it lit my inside I had to pull back before my hand skitter down to his belt.
"I already knew what kind of guy you were. And yes, I didn't want to meet you but you also didn't want to meet me. But now I regret not meeting you boys sooner. I missed so much. So very much."
"If only I could of saved you from pervious heart breaks." He kisses me again. My p***y tinkles to his touch against me. A small tear hold back as it slowly drip down my cheek. "Come on baby. I'm gonna take you some where."
"Travis I don't want to go anywhere. Not after today." Shaking my head. I was beyond exhausted.
"Come on. It'll be worth it. I should of taken you there sooner." I say nothing but nod.
These thoughts of dreadfulness won't go away. My mate was better in all and I don't deserve him. Neither of them. I'll just have to pray to Moon Goddess to let me keep him. Pray to Sun God that I'm not as evil as everyone thinks I am. I don't want to let them go. They're the only good I ever had. I will never be myself again without them.
