Music blasted in my ears. I get a high of adrenaline running as I finish out my workout for today. I do one more rep. Settling the bar in place as I pant out my breath. I grab my water to take a sip. The cold drip cooling me off.

Looking around, today seem busy at the gym. I normally get a private session but I didn’t mind the people around today. In fact. I enjoy seeing the crowd of people, especially since it wasn’t an avenge day. It was big, and seeing everyone together means a lot. The boxing ring held a small action in play. I grin seeing how far we have come. It gave me hope.

Looking on my phone. It was almost time for the arrivals. And I stink!

I headed out. Making my walk through the halls. I smell my mate’s roasted hazel nut scent. She turns the corner. Bumping right into me. I grab her from the arms and smirk with my tiring face.

“Let go of me! You sweaty dogs.” Yanking herself away from us.

“You never mind it before.” I chuckle.

She brush her clothes off. As if my stank of sweat glues to her. “Yeah well I don’t want to give the Elders another reason to not like me more because I stink.”

“Who cares. They’re stick up the asses.” Grabbing her again. But this time I bring her closer to my chest.

I sniff her scent. I’m fascinated by it. Her hands push on me. Keeping space as she fights me off. “Boys please! Shower before they come. I shouldn’t be telling you this.”

“I can’t miss a workout.” She glares at me hard. And I just know she’s saying vile words in her head about me right now. I kiss her wrinkle nose to just annoy her more.

*Buzz Buzz*

Elizabeth checks her phone and shoves my arms away. I looking over her shoulders as she text back. I remove her hair to the side. Kissing her neck. And even then my sweat drips onto her. She wiggles away once more.

“Travis! Stop it!” She huff. “They’re 20 minutes out. Please shower and don’t take long.” She demands.

She was so cute right now. Bossy and on her toes. It rail me up a bit. I know I’d my cardio already but I can go for one more. “Why don’t you help me then.” I bite my lip at her.

Her cheeks redden as she steps back. Shielding herself. “No! Now go! Please!”

I purr at her sight, her v neck top shows a small cleavage. I strive towards her with hunger in my eyes that glows from Malcolm and I. Noticing she demands me to hurry and runs away before we can catch her.

After a quick shower. I towel dry my hair and let it fluff out. Small bit of product as my hair feathers over. I put on some dark blue slacks and wear a nice collar shirt for today. I roll up my sleeves to finish up.

Elizabeth text me 5 times. Ordering me to hurry to the entrance to meet the Elders as they’re about to pull up soon.

“Isn’t she adorable when she bossies us around.”

“It’s a turn on Malcolm. And the Elders will see she’s made to lead.”

“At this rate. I think it’s us at heat for our mate than the other way around.” He claims. There was nothing that woman does that doesn’t turn us on.

Once more I get a text from Elizabeth.

“Travis. Meet me at the gate. Alpha Stan says they want to start right away.”

I sent a kiss emoji back and she reads it with no reply. Malcolm nuzzle his nose. Aware how annoy Elizabeth must be with us right now.

In quick times I meet a very, very fuse of a witch. She picks at her knuckles as she waits for the car to pull up all the way. I wrap my hand over her hip. Rubbing her down to sooth her high nerves. Her anxiety has picked up the last 2 days. In seconds the Elders car arrivals and her nerves pick up again. I kiss her lips to sent all my love to her. Cupping her cheeks I whispers, “I’m here. Don’t worry okay.” She nods back as she leans for one more kiss to help.

One by one the Elders got out their car. We bow slightly to all four Elders. Elder Frank, Elder Gio, Alpha Keith, and of course Alpha Stan.

“Good to see you Elders. Been a long time. May I introduce you to my mate and soon to be Luna, Elizabeth.” They nod with barely a smile.

I can feel her nerves hitch. But she kept her expression natural. “Good day Elders. It’s good to meet you all.”

“Mmh yes. Good to meet you under these circumstances.” Elder Gio says in an incite tone.

“Shall we do a walk through? See the changes that spread among the people?” Alpha Stan suggested.

“I can guide you. I’ll explain all th..”

Elder Frank rose his voice. Stopping Elizabeth. “Not needed now. We shall begin while your presence is still valid ”

She drapes her shoulders. Keeping her true reaction at bay. I hide my growl from them. If this wasn’t as important to her. And the promised we made. I would of said something to Elder Frank on his disrespect.

We head over to the pack house. Entering the meeting room. We all take a seat. Elizabeth and I stay at one side while the Elders sit on the other. You can feel the growing tension in the air. And I feel our mate battling emotions. I lay my hand on her thigh. Cupping my wrist over. She grips my arm. Nibbling her nails in.

“If only we can mind link her. She’ll feel better. She’s too much in her head about these assholes.” As Malcolm is right. I continue to sooth her thigh. Sending little sparks to her.

“To begin with this meeting. We take everything in to consideration. If further actions need to be made, we will enforce them highly. Otherwise we are simply influencing the actions. Understand Alpha and hybrid?” Elder Frank spoke with his hand cross.

I stare him down. “Her name is Elizabeth. Luna of Black Harvest.” I roar.

Everyone hum and nod.

“Will you two like to explain what brought you to the idea of your actions.” Alpha Stan started easy.

He informed me he will try to not look as if he is corrupting his oath. So far they don’t know the closeness we are. So if he takes a harsh act, to not take them serious.

“We are fated mates. We took action just like everyone else.” I tell them.

“And in what call did you think your arrangement is fated? What tactics are you planning to do?” Ask Elder Frank.

“By looks it seems you are creating an union. What makes you think this was a good idea. Have you spoken to you alliances on such reckless?” Elder Gio ask.

“I took the call to bring my people forth. It’s home and at the time..”

“You have no people as you’re the only one of your kind. You brought forth your old home. You brought our enemies to our home. What is your motive?” Elder Gio asked with a hard glare at her.

“Family. We are stronger together Elders. All of our alliances understood. And in nick time they stand by us.” Elizabeth stands her ground. Despite what she feels inside.

“And do you think your arrangement will bear the wars you seek coming? How many obstacles will your heirs walk through? It’s quite a shame the war and insanity you are bringing.” Alpha Stan’s question kicks hard. But I would rather it come from him than the others.

I tighten my grip as I feel her loosen hers.

“Elders we didn’t come to mating just because. Moon Goddess saw it. And in her eyes we do as she ask of us.” I explain.

“What makes you think this absurd relationship is okay!” Alpha Keith yell.

“What heirs can she give the pack.” Elder Frank ask.

“She’s a half vampire. She can not. Rejection is needed or we will appoint a new Alpha.” Alpha Keith practically demanded us.

I went to talk, nearly throwing my chair back. But Elizabeth shoves me down. “Things are new. Their are still unsure answers to all the questions. But if the time comes we made arrangement. Black Harvest will be taken care of. I assure you. And concerns you thought of. We had too. Our mating acceptance wasn’t taken lightly. Black Harvest is in good hands even if we have to make a hard decision for the pack.”

“Elizabeth? These things are not lightly taken in any way. If you want a strong power. For any reason. You are fine on your own. You see how out rank you are. A pack nor coven is needed. Yet you seek to lead both.” Alpha Stan says.

She takes one look at everyone. Chuckling a soft smile. “I handle worst. I can..”

“You can not! You sent wars here! Its amaze it hasn’t started yet.” Gio shouted back.

“Threats are words Elders! My mate is mighty powerful and she will lead us to a new age of time. You’re blind to see otherwise.” I try holding back. But damn I be to let this go on.

“How dull you think such a way is fine. What will you do when they take over. Witches put themselves first. They do not care for the death they cause. That will never change. Their actions will never change.” Frank’s jaw clench down and I see he will be hard to come by.

“We coexist before..” Elizabeth started but once again stopped rudely.

“And now we don’t! It’s not welcome as this coven you obtain.” Frank was not backing down.

“Times has change. And..” Again she tried to talk.

“You will bring forth a wreath you can not handle and lead death. That is what clear.” Alpha Kieth claims.

Elizabeth shakes her head. “No. Death isn’t..”

“There’s more to just building up. Enforcing your own men and women. If you read our laws it’s not the same from yours.” Stan tried to clam down the room with his statement.

“I have. I read..”

Elder Gio stops her. Mockingly shaking his head at her. “You haven’t learn enough then. You still haven’t..”

“My mate is wiser than you think. She can obtain more than what you see here today. All those rumors and talk is nothing but trash!” I slam my fist into the table. My limit of them was done. I can not take this no more.

“Watch your tone Alpha!” Elder Gio demanded.

“You’re guest Elders. My mate is respected by all. Not one wolf here thought twice and neither will the guest I allow on our grounds! You’re dull headed to not see what is happening.” I use my Alpha voice to structure.

It’s silence for a bit. And I hear their whispers. Not a word sounded good from them. Nor did the looks they return back to us. Elizabeth and I take our seat again. I whisper in her ears. Telling her to ignore everything. They want to angry her.

“And you think every step you took aside each other is good? Is it worth losing the pack, the title, a home?” Alpha Kieth asked me in a clam voice.

“Nothing is lose Elders. We can..” Elizabeth wanted to reassure them of our actions but they wouldn’t listen.

“We will see how things go as you still need time.” Alpha Keith claim.

“Study your laws and prep yourself. As more packs will come to see your fit. Your coven may say one thing. But we do not think alike.” Elder Gio admitted to us.

“We are ready. If you..”

Alpha Stan spoke loud in his nice Alpha voice. Making Elizabeth turn her head up. “Work through your future as Alpha status goes. Fix it and get answers. Otherwise drop this now.”

Elizabeth was speechless. I can not feel her bond at the moment. It was too much. I just waited to see what else they would say.

“As a heir comes by for you two. A she wolf will be needed to carry forth the name. A list of future Lunas will be sent when it’s needed. Don’t think an non-full breed can take over.” Alpha Kieth instructed us. And I knew that had to be hard for her to hear. But I will not accept any woman they offer.

Her eyes widen sightly in shock. “My Ceremony is coming..”

“Do not take any more action from here on out. You, Alpha, and the Black Harvest will face consequences if so.” Elder Gio used his firm tone. It echo off the walls

“Elders if you will. I can..”

They all stand up quick to their feet and we do as well. “Good day. We will be in contact again.” Elder Gio says with a nod.

One by one they headed out the door. Leaving us at our place. All I can think is how stubborn they can be. Thinking this was all for our selfish reason. But little do they know we’re in love and will still go forward with our life.

I take a step beside my mate. Feeling her shoulders tensing up big. Her hands tick as the Elders just dismiss her. Her fist beam a mist of red and orange. “Don’t let them get to you. They’re just putting on a facia for the others. Watch next time..”

“Next time?” She turns to me quick. Flicking her hands out. The mist rose a bit more but I do not fright.

“Yes next time. This was just to see how they can tick you off. They’re testing us.”

She sigh. Closing her eyes and opening them back up. The mist is gone. I cup her jaw. Feeling her dread as mine. “We should do what they say. Just push everything back. For now.”

My thumb runs her jaw. And I read her face. She wanted to obey them. She wanted them to know she’s not what rumors says she is. She wanted time.

“Whatever we say won’t change her mind. She’ll push us away if we argue.” Malcolm is right, she will.

“Okay baby.” I pull on her chin to bring her close to me. Kissing her lips. She barely reacted. I felt a sob of frustration through her kiss.

“How it go?” Beta asked. Both him and Gamma walks into the room. Both with wondering eyes.

“How do you think? I’m just a manipulative monster to them.”

I coo her down to not say such thing. And Mason does the same as her Beta. “Liv those old Alphas don’t know..”

“It’s done Mason.” Raising her hand and stepping away from my grip. She looks up at Gamma. And both nod at each other in sync.

“They seem to have grow a good bond over time. That’s good.” As it is.

“Gamma we have work to attain to.”

“Yes Luna.” Gamma nods and leaves with her Luna.

No mater how many words I wanted to say. By her body I knew she needed time. She’s not use to motherfuckers like we are. My words and actions won’t help when she decline the truth. So I let her do her thing before she pushes me away. I learn to not over bear her with stressful things such as this. Some time and then she’ll come.

Mason turn to me with tight lips. I just shock my head at him. “This may be bad timing. But Bri is waiting for you in the office.”

My eyes darken a bit. “Tell her to leave with her father.”

“I try but you know her.”

I pinch the bridge of my nose. “God damn it. Can’t you keep your stray in check Mason?”

“Aye I cut that s**t off a long time ago. Too peppy for me.” I take a hell of a breath. Prep myself for whatever s**t I’m about to walk into. “Is requested..”

“I don’t care what she requested.” f**k man. I hit Mason on the back of his skull before I stomp my way to my office.

Elder Gio daughter got too use to being around here. I don’t need her here starting s**t. She’s worst then her dad.

I take the long way back to my office. The b***h can sit and wait. Opening my door I press my anger by not slamming the door. As clear as day Bri stood up with a cheery grin. As if I am pleased to see her or something.

“Alpha Travis. It’s good too se..”

“What the hell do you want Bri? Your father is leaving now.” Brushing aside her and slump myself to my chair.

A light huff as she sis down on the chair in front of my desk. She crosses her legs and scans me with her eyes.

“I told my dad to send another car. I want to talk to you.”

“I’m done talking. Go home.” I demand.

She stood up and walks around my desk. “I know the meeting with my dad might not go well. So I wanted to ease the stress. Maybe get you to side with him and the Elders.” She leans over. Meeting my face.

“Not a damn chance. Take your s**t else where.” I stood up and move away. She follows like an annoying kid.

“Oh come on. Do you think she’s worth it. You know the pack is better off with someone else.”

“You don’t know what the f**k you’re talking about.” I turn around with my fist at sight.

“But I do. You don’t need the power she gives. She’ll give you up for her selfish reasons. It’s what they’re known for. She can’t and won’t understand us.”

“Oh and I claim you know better. You and your father don’t know s**t. We’re better because of Elizabeth.” I retreated.

Malcolm roar in my head telling me to shut her down and throw her back to her father.

She chuckles. Walking up to me she runs a finger on my torso. I push her back growling to not touch me.

“Things will be better if I take her place. You know I can do better. I can please you and your wolf.” She press onto me.

I grip her back by the arms. Making her gasp in slight pain. “There’s nothing between us. I been told you that. Go screw up another Alpha’s life. I have my mate.”

Again I walk around her. I know this was more her idea than her father’s. I been told her there will never be anything between us.

“You can’t be serious with this witch! She has you on some kind of spell claiming to love you. Look what she’d done. Black Harvest is doom and it’s because of her.”

My eyes turn pure dark. At edge to choke her. “I’m giving you one last chance to shut the f**k up. You will not disrespect my Luna.”

She laugh as she strive to me. Flipping her hair. “Face it Travis. No one but a wolf can lead a pack you wanted without an arrange Luna. So I’m here. I’ll give you a better mark and we will rise..”

I get in her face. Malcolm surface to roar in her w***e face. Her seduction looks pathetic to us. “Elizabeth is my fated mate. We love her.”

“Hardly love if she’s gonna ruin everything for you. She could be faking it?” She ask.

“Excuse you!”

“Oh Travis. Come on. I’m here for one thing. You.” She caresses my face and I nick away from her touch.

“I have nothing for you. And if you think I’ll ever give her up for some skank! You’re out your damn mind. Even if I was unmated. Your s**t only works on Mason.” I grunt in disgust.

Her lips scowl. “I’ll give you that. I mean, he’s good with the oral stuff and all. But between the legs, where it’s nice and warm. I think of you Travis. Not Mason. You.”

She tries again to touch me with her fail seductive act.

“f**k off!” She giggle in my face. Malcolm growl feral at her. “Do you think this is a joke. Am I a joke to you?”

“Yes Travis.” She laughed. “This whole act you’re playing is a joke. The idea of you two ever being anything is laughable. And if you really think it’s anything more than..”

“I love my mate because she’s perfect in every way. Even if she wasn’t my mate.” I cross my body in prayer. “Thank Moon Goddess she is, but I’ll choose Elizabeth in a room of anyone.”

“You think that abomination creature deserve you or any of this. She’ll bring everything down. My father will look the other cheek if you accept my offer. Goddess knows he will be happy.”

I walk away form her to only be pull back by my arm. “Get this through your airhead. I love Elizabeth. She will either lead with me or I will resign as Alpha.” Poking her head aggressively.

She moves my hand to the side. Bringing herself closer. “You won’t have to resign if you had me. I’ll be willing to do anything. Remove the witches and bring a larger pack. You know I am better. She’s not a wolf like us. She can never understand how to please you like I can.”

My chest rose in anger. She leans over to whisper hate to our mate. “You’ll lose everything. I’ll give you more.” Kissing my neck. I wipe it off and she claims a kiss on me. In seconds I wrap my hands around her throat. Spitting on the ground next to her.

“Get the f**k out Bri!”

I let her go and yank the door open. My fist curls as the thought of Elizabeth feeling the betrayal.

Bri follows behind me. Shouting. “Are you f*****g serious Travis. Face the truth about it all. She would only..”

I growl loudly the room shook as I pin her to the wall. Choking her with my grip. She claws at my arm to let go.

“I told you to get the f**k out. Don’t ever show back up here again unless you want your father to mourn your w***e body. Do you understand me!” I yelled.

She nods her head as a tear ran down her cheek. I throw her to the ground. She whimpers in pain.

“You’re making a mistake. My father won’t be happy..” Coughing up air back in her lungs.

“I don’t give a f**k what you, your father, the Elders or anyone else for that. I make my own choice and I pick her every damn time. I don’t care for what I lose.” I bend down in a squat to meet her face. “Now get your ass off the floor before your STD spreads.” I remove a small debris from her hair. Flicking it to her. She flinch.

I tell the secretary to make sure she off the property. While I go searching for my mate. I follow her scent. Leading me to the studies.

“Hurry. Before she thinks something!”

I look around and don’t see her. Not even a clutter of books or brew tea at sight. Malcolm noticing the spell room is crack open. I head over. Walking in and preparing to face whatever is about to come. She knows I would never dare cheat.

With one long deep breath to ease my anger. My eyes darken in sight. Seeing Gamma lounging in a chair while Elizabeth is laying flat on the ground with writing all around. I listen close to hear barely a heartbeat. Her chest never moves.

My growl spook Gamma as she jumps to her feet. “Alpha!”

“What the hell is going on.” I tower over her.

“I don’t question Luna. You have to ask her that.”

I hear Elizabeth gasp and her breath shortens more. I walk over to check her. But Gamma grabs my arm. At this rate I don’t like anyone touching me.

“Don’t. It’s not time.”

I slap her arm away and pin her to the wall. I look around to search the room. I grab a chair and throw it at the candles. Blowing a few out. That seem to awaken her up.

She takes a huge gasp of air as her body jerks awake. Her heart racing in my ear drums. I was relief but more pissed off. She quickly gets up in frustration.

“Gamma what the hell. Why you pull me out. I was..oh shit.”
