I walked beside my sister who was in a beautiful crimson dress probably to match her name, she was like a twin sister just not quite, ever so beautiful and breathtaking , I held her hand for familiarity sake, I wore a simple yet elegant red dress just to look presentable,I was never the type to care about what I looked like actually just had to be there because I loved her, I couldn't help but smile as I watched her battle with her inner butterflies " What's on your mind?" I asked confused " Everything silly " she chuckled, " I should be thanking you, your making me happy again sis I miss it" I said, my sister was a year older but I always felt like the big sis for some reason, I obviously looked older, and acted that way but that's not what the certificate says, I clear my head as we walk into the main room where all the guests had been waiting for the party or whatever they called it, something sparks inside of me and my world darkens something was wrong, and my wolf knew that, she was getting noisy inside of me like she wanted to pounce on someone and save something, I don't know what it is but it's something I glanced at my sister for a while and my wolf growls in anger, but why ' Rita what's the matter ' I talk to my wolf but it keeps growling, I look around and a familiar scent hits my nostrils, too familiar actually,it was something that belonged to me ,but what " Ruby are you okay" Rose asked,I growl unconsciously at her not knowing why , then I here it the voice that always had its way with me, that only usually said sweet things to me but this time it said something I never thought it would since this month " Bae your here" he said sounding happy, just when I was about to answer him I realized he wasn't looking at me but at my sister, he hadn't noticed me, but that's impossible the mates bond should have sparked within him, or does he know but playing with me, He tilts his head and kisses Rose before me, I feel an invisible stab in the heart " what ?" I thought, my wolf wants to surface and do something, but just then he looks over to me, looking unfazed by my shock " Oh Ruby, what are you doing here?" He asks so casually like we haven't met before " Richard, what kind of joke is this?" I had to ask as I fall to my knees in agony, I want to tear him apart , I look at Rose who is ever so confused " What's what?" She asks me with wide eyes " Richard and you have met ?" " Met?" He barked out " I'm giving you a chance to live, your kind should be dead " he said " Some favour you offer, lying to me all these years, rejecting me for some useless reason, now your getting mated to my sister and throwing me out" I scoff " how comsiderate" I say sarcastically, he tries to hit me but my wolf has had enough,she takes over and pounces on him scratching and scarring his sorry face, the guards grab me and overpower me throwing me off him and pinning me back till I shift back to human form Richard walks towards me with his wounded face and rains down beatings I would never forget, I cry out before slipping free and running of into the woods in wolf form.
