The Alpha's Obsession

I sigh the morning breath the moment I open my eyes. God. I want to have my freedom again. I want to have some fun and just live a normal life where I can do the things that I want to do. Where I can laugh genuinely and happily without worrying about tomorrow. I just want to live like those privileged. But to my disappointment, those are all just my hopes. My impossible hope. I was about to get up from bed when I felt a heavy thing on my stomach. My eyes narrowed. I already had something in my mind, and I confirmed it when I glanced at my side and found a naked man! God! Am I dreaming? I slowly shook my eyes, blinked my eyes thrice, and even pinched my cheeks. But no. I am not dreaming! Oh, for heaven’s sake! I slept with a man! Groaning, the man beside me slowly moved and I felt his thing there, between his thighs, poking my legs. I held my breath, unable to move. Seconds later, the man finally removes his masculine arms from my stomach as he slowly opens his eyes. Our eyes met and there was a long silence between us. Sighing, the man scratches his head. ‘I guess this is what we called a one-night mistake?’ he casually stated. My mouth hangs open. I had already expected that fact. But still, I felt an unfamiliar pinch in my heart. ‘Of course,’ I laughed awkwardly, and he glanced at my way. ‘I was drunk last night. And you are too. So, yes, this is a mistake.’ ‘Why is that I can hear a hint of disappointment in your voice?’ the man teases. I chuckle and bravely look at him. ‘Maybe it’s because you felt that disappointment? I’m sorry, but I’m already off.’ And I climbed off the bed after covering myself with a blanket. My jaw clenched and my eyes widened after I pulled the blanket, leaving the man exposed to his nakedness. I saw him smirking to heaven before I looked away and went straight to the bathroom. When I got out of the bathroom, he'd already changed as well. He was standing tall, facing the door while scanning his phone. I took that opportunity to stare at him. His back is as broad as the daylight. He is masculine, tall, and well-built. His muscles are toned and in the right places. He has Greek features that every woman would surely fall for. I sigh as I tilted my head. I know my place. And I already committed a sin to moon goddess by giving my gem to someone who’s not my fated. I shouldn’t add any sin anymore. With that thought, I cleared my throat and excuse myself. When I was already outside the room, he calls for my attention. ‘I had a great fun last night,’ he said and smirks that almost caught me. I smiled back at him to match his evil smirk. ‘Of course. You just tasted a one-of-a-kind taste.’ I then start walking. The moment I step on the train that will send me home to our village, I felt my body tired. I stare outside the window and recalls why I left the village and went to the city proper. I sigh in tiredness. Our formal call to enter the Moonlight village and Lycan university has been on hold for almost two years now because of the great-grand queen. She was badly I’ll for almost a year. And when she dies before last year, the whole kingdom was on a chaos because they can’t decide who to appoint on the position that the great-grand queen has left. Three months later, the queen’s consultant arrived in the kingdom and reads the queen’s last will wherein she’s giving the position she left to the grandson of her dearest best friend. And just after the proper ceremony of proclamation, the kingdom finally announces the opening of wolves walk. And it will be held tomorrow. Being an omega, I wasn’t excited for the wolves walk. Because it will only mean that once we enter the Moonlight village and the Lycan university, we will then begin our fated role. And that is to serve those privileged wolves with all our might. But serving them means hell. I have heard a lot of stories from the elders that those privileged wolves are ruthless and devil for they slave the omega endlessly. And I can’t imagine myself on that situation even though my mother had already prepared me for it. I still can’t. Because deep down in myself, I know that I was born a fighter. But being a fighter has no room when you are an omega. ‘I heard that you went on the city proper and spend the night there,’ my friend Aurora said. I rolled my eyes on her. ‘You heard? Or you asked?’ Aurora smiled devilishly on me. ‘Of course, I ask. I was looking for you yesterday, but Aunt Greta said that you went on the city proper. I ask her if you’ll return, and she said yes. I thought you run away.’ I winced at her. ‘You know that if I do that, they’ll punish my mother. And I can’t endure that just for my own sake.’ ‘But you treasure your freedom so much.’ ‘I do. But mother is worth a treasure too.’ ‘Anyway, the Scout were here yesterday.’ ‘They too excited, huh?’ ‘Are you not really excited? You know, we will live on the same village with the Alphas. Especially with Alpha Fenrir,’ Aurora said, and she giggles. ‘I have been excited to see the Alphas. I can even willingly be get slaved by them!’ she exclaimed, and I poke her forehead to wake her up. ‘You’ll die serving them,’ I said, very sure. ‘You listen to the elders too much. Their alphas are different to the alphas in this generation. And mind you, what if the moon goddess will bless us to have a good pack and a nice alpha?’ I glance at her. ‘That is very impossible.’ I remarked. And out of nowhere, the man I slept with pops up in my mind. I felt a little tingling sensation in between my thighs but I quickly ignored it. I hope that I won’t cross path with that man ever again. But to my super surprised, the man I slept with turns out to my alpha…the alpha that I will serve without any willingness. My alpha licks his lips and smirks at me the moment I arrived in front of our pack house. ‘What a shame,’ he commented. ‘I tasted an omega?’ he whispers, mocking me. ‘I want to vomit,’ he said and looks at me with a pity on his eyes. F*ck him. I want to cry and run away because of too much embarrassment. I am sure that one of these days, the whole village will learn that I committed a sin. And might be sent to rogue’s city. ‘Please…’ I whisper back. ‘Please keep that night a secret.’ I begged. He smirks devilishly again and looks at me from head to toe. ‘Then you must agree to follow all my commands? Everything.’ I close my eyes. I can already sense what’s coming. But I must swallow my pride for the sake of my mother. ‘I agree…Alpha.’ And then I saw how his eyes glisten with lust and…desire.
