Missing

Ever since I got to Eden I haven't been myself and I noticed I am not the only one. Arianna has also been acting very strange but she refused to talk about it.

Arianna and I have known each other for ages. We literally grew up together. So I can tell when something's up with her, but lately she's been pushing me away. So I decide I need to talk to her and I need to do it today.

I stretch out my hands still feeling exhausted from our tour and unwilling to get up.

After awhile of convincing myself. I finally get the courage to stand up. I go to the mirror and God I look stressed.

Sighing, I quickly run my hand through my hair feeling uneasy, but I convince myself that I just needed to talk to Ari and everything will be fine.

I take a quick shower, get dressed and decide to go to Arianna's room.

"Arianna, you awake." I knock, but don't get any response so I decide to let myself in. She might still be asleep.

"Ari." I go into the bedroom but there is no one there, thinking she might be in the bathroom I go to the bathroom door and knock slightly but still no response.

I twist the bathroom door handle and it opened indicating no one is here. At this point I was starting to get worried.

I decide to go over to Hailey's maybe Arianna is with her.

" Hailey." I say letting myself into her room. " Have you seen Ari." I ask not bothering to care that she was only in her underwear.

"Jeez Ryan, have you forgotten how to knock." She says rushing to cover herself. I roll my eyes.

"Hailey I don't care about your body. Besides, am gay remember." I say in a duh tone.

"Well... still. You should knock." She say a lot more calmer.

"Whatever like this is the first time am seeing you naked." I give her a matter a fact look.

Sighing. I pinch my nose."That's not why am here by the way. Have you seen Arianna, I can't find her anywhere." I look around her room. "I thought she would be here." I say.

Now properly wrapped in her bedsheets. "I don't know but I think I heard her leave this morning." Hailey said. "Leave. Where did she go?" I ask.

Hailey shrugs.

"I don't know, maybe she wanted to explore some more. You should talk to Kayden." She suggests.

"Good idea. Thanks." I walk out of her bedroom.

"Oh. Hailey." I open her room door slightly.

"What?." She answers.

"Sorry for barging into your bedroom earlier." I smile. "But really tho. There isn't much to see." I say, quickly closing her door and running away giggling. She is definitely pissed for sure.

I go to the sitting room of the main suite, picking up the cell phone I dial Kayden's number. It rings for a while before a female voice comes through the phone.

"Hello?". The voice say. "Who is this?"

"Um. Hi, I want to speak with Kayden. I am one of the guests who came to Eden a few days ago." I explain.

"Oh sure." The person on the other end replies, realizing who I am.

"Kayden." The person calls. "You have a caller. It's one the guests." She informs him.

The line goes silent. Then Kayden's voice replaces the silence. "Hello. Good morning." He greets.

"Hi Kayden sorry to disturb you, but have you by any chance seen Arianna this morning?" I ask. " Um no, I have not even left my house all morning." He said.

"Really? then who answered the phone. I asked. "Oh, that's Rachel. She is my mate. He informs me. "Okay." I reply.

"But is everything okay with Arianna." He asks, sounding worried.

"I don't know. That's why I need to find her." I silently say. Hoping she really is fine.

"Well maybe you should check the love gardens and libraries. I think she might have gotten bored and decided to go there." He suggests.

"You know what? I think you are right. I will check it out now. Thanks for your help Kayden." I say.

"It's okay anytime." He replies before hanging up.

"Hailey am leaving." I say rushing out the door. I felt so worried. My mind thinking all sorts of things. I need to find her.

After awhile of wandering around aimlessly. I decide to rest a bit. I go to a nearby restaurant and order soda.

An hamburger and apple juice. I hear from beside me. I turn to see a muscle man ten times my height, standing casually beside me.

I scoff.

"Excuse me." I hit the guy on his shoulder. " Go back and wait your turn. I tell him. He just stares at me, looking a bit surprised.

"You are not speaking to me right?" Was his reply. I stare at him not believing what am hearing.

"Oh no. I was speaking to the invisible man beside you." I reply sarcastically. "Dude get to the back of the line." I order him, but he just stares at me like I am doing something completely out of place. I guess they must not know what a line is here. I thought.

"Do you know who I........ He pauses sniffing the air. "Wait are you human." The strange man asked surprised.

"What? Humans are not allowed in your kingdom." I retort finding his question offensive. Sue me. Am sensitive.

"Well..... As a matter of fact yeah. Humans are not allowed." He said rudely crossing his arm. "Well too bad am here. Deal with it." I say on edge about being unable to find my friend.

"Who........." His phone rings, making him pause. He looks at his phone then sighs.

"You know what? I don't have time for this." He says, taking his hamburger and MY soda and walking out the door, pissing me off even more.

"What a douchebag." I say before taking his apple juice and walking over to my seat. How are these supernaturals so annoying. I thought.

Seeing as it was almost night. I decide to go back to our suite maybe Arianna is back. I quickly rush back to the suite and just as I suspected Arianna was in the living room looking lost in thoughts. Thank goodness.
