Car ride to School.

I gave Axel a hug and walked out to Leo’s car. It is a blood red Jeep. I absolutely love his Jeep. We get in and I turn his radio to the country station and the song “Wanted” by Hunter Hays came on.
“Oh My God I love this song!!” I turn and look at Leo with a huge smile on my face. “Hey Leo, can I ask you something?” I ask nervously.
“Yeah, what’s up?”
“What is it like doing your first shift? Does it hurt at all?” I had asked my family, but they all avoided the question. I know if I asked Leo though he would tell me the truth.
His face fell a little as he parked the car in the school parking lot. He slowly turned and looked at me.
“It is a little bit painful, but it depends on how strong your wolf is to protect you from that pain. Now if your mate is close by you shouldn’t feel the pain at all.”
I looked at him in shock as he explained all of this to me. I hope my wolf is powerful enough to help me through the pain of my first shift. I have been to all my brothers and even Leo and his brothers first shift. I have to say out of all of them I remember Leo being the worst of them all because he is the future Alpha.
“I hope it goes smoothly for me. I do not handle pain well.” I smile shyly.
“You will do great just like you always do.”
His smile melted my heart at how handsome he looked. I felt my face turn a bright red. I sit with him in the jeep for a little longer until I seen others start to show up. We got out of the jeep and stood there for a moment.
“Thank you for the ride Leo.” I gave him a hug and went to turn and leave but he grabs my arm and pulls me back in.
“Just a little longer please.” Leo said more to himself then me, but I still heard. It confused me as to why he said that, but I brushed it off and enjoyed our hug. He finally let me go and I tell him goodbye again, but before I got to far, he yelled out to me,
“I’ll be here all day when classes are over come find me in the office and we can head home together for dinner. I heard both of our moms are going to be cooking tonight.”
“Awesome thank you Leo.” I smiled at him one last time before heading to my first class of the day.
