CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR
A job? He offered me a job and double the salary? What did he think I was? Stupid? And where was the damn phone when I needed it? I turned things over in my room, cussing under my breath to no end but still there was no sign of my phone. Where did I put that dang thing?
“What are you looking for?” Kyle questioned and I turned around to answer but words got caught in my throat.
Kyle was straight from the shower, hanging one towel around his neck while the other was tied low on his waist, not bothering to cover the peering V-shape. The wet strands of hair add sexiness to him without so much effort. His eyes held mine, a softened and somewhat unreadable look crossing them and just for a brief moment I wondered if he did feel something for me. Beyond the mountain façade
