Chapter 39
‘I must be crazy,’ Jess thought as he charged towards the two battle robots.
For the first few moments the robots were stunned. Having an unarmoured human charge into range of their fists was probably a novel experience. They soon recovered and opened fire but they weren’t expecting Jess to be so fast.
He couldn’t accelerate his body to anywhere near the extent he could his mind, but he was still moving far faster than a normal human. There was a price to pay. He could feel muscles straining and tearing as his body moved far faster than it should have been able to.
