Looking at the guards as they paced from one end of the room to another, I couldn't help but laugh quietly. All these they were doing now would be in vain by the time I am ready to get out of this pithole.
But right now, I just have to play along with them and act like I never possessed any powers. Jude must have thought I never saw him when he was leaving the building after having a word with one of the guards, he probably thought I was fast asleep. Little did he know that I was as awake as a jellyfish.
If only these people knew exactly what I was capable of doing, they would come to the realization that I was not just an ordinary person to be kept hostage in an idle room, for days now.
