It's Not So Bad

Chapter 1 part 3

Once everything was done, we took a step back to admire our work and make sure nothing was out of place. We ended up putting the sheets on the bed as well since there were none on the bed. We hung a few posters up and I put the picture frame that she had of me, her, and Deku as kids on her nightstand.

As if on que, the water stopped running as soon as we got done. I started pushing them out of the room and closed the door. I turned towards Sleepy and Pikachu and said, “Thanks. But if you ever tell anyone, I will not hesitate to blast you to pieces, got it Extras?” They were shocked that I could actually say thank you but f**k them, I have manners.

They nodded their heads, so I turned to my door and closed it shut behind me. After changing into a black muscle tee and gray sweatpants, I headed downstairs to see how Deku was doing and making sure that he didn’t mess up my kitchen. I walked through the living room to see that everyone except for Pikachu, Sleepy, Kii, and Deku were in the living room in pajamas. I walked into the kitchen to see Deku stirring the pot on the stove.

“How much longer Deku?” I said making him jump. He turned around and said, “K-kacchan! Please don’t do that. I could have spilled it! Not too much longer though, just a few minutes. Is everything done in her room?”

“Yeah that shits done. Sleepy and Pikachu helped me, so it got done a lot quicker. I think she should be down in a few minutes.” I said and started setting the table. Once it was set, I started heading towards the stairs to see where Kii was.

Once I got to her dorm, I knocked on the door and waited for any type of reply. The door opened to reveal Kii in a black and white T-shirt and a matching pair of pants. “Hey Firework, um, I have a question. What happened to my dorm?” She asked me.

I chuckled a little at her worried expression and said, “Surprised you huh? While you were in the shower, me, Pikachu and Sleepy unpacked your room and organized it. Do you like it?” She jumped forward and hugged me as she said thank you over and over again. I hugged her back and when we pulled apart, I remembered that Deku was in the kitchen.

“By the way, dinner should be ready by now, Deku cooked so I hope it’s at least edible. Come on.” I said. She gave a small smile and followed me down the stairs. Going through the living room, nobody was there anymore. We walked to the dining table which is where everyone went and headed to the kitchen.

Just as we entered, Deku turned around and jumped again. I let out a little laugh and asked, “Is it ready?” He nodded his head and said, “Yeah its ready. You guys can sit down, and I will bring it out.” After we all sat down and Deku put the pot on the table, I served everyone the soup, then myself, then sat down. Everyone started eating and talking amongst each other.

The soup was actually really good, and I would never admit that to Deku, but by the look he was giving me, he knew I at least liked it a little bit. I just rolled my eyes and ate my soup. I looked at Kii to see her going for another bowl already. I let a small smile make an appearance and continued eating.

The quiet murmur at the table was broken by the one and only Pikachu. “You made the soup right Bakugo?” I shook my head and pointed to Deku. “Oh really? Well, thanks Midoriya for cooking dinner! It was really good.” Pika said and everyone agreed. I didn’t say anything, but I guess they took it as an agreement. I rolled my eyes again and just continued to eat. After a bit, everyone started finishing up, so we all went back to what we were doing before.

Kiiarda’s P.O.V

Once everyone was done with dinner, Denki and Sero were on cleaning duty. I walked up to Denki and said, “Denki, thank you so much for helping with the room. You don’t know how grateful I am for your help. Thank you.” while I hugged him. He hugged back, then let go and said, “Honestly, it’s no problem. Shinso helped to so me and Blasty can’t take all the credit. I think he just started walking up the stairs. If you hurry you can catch him. Tell him I said thank you to please.”

I nodded my head and went up the stairs to find Shinso. He was about to walk through the door to his floor when I called out to him. “Shinso! Wait a minute please.” He stopped and waited for me to catch up with him. When I did, I hugged him and said, “Shinso, I can’t thank you enough for helping with my room. You really didn’t have to, and you still did. Thank you so much.” He didn’t expect it but after a second he returned the hug and said, “It’s no problem. That’s what friends are for right?” then stepped back from the hug. I gave him a real smile then started heading to my dorm.

Once I got in, I let my wings out and sighed in relief. Not having them out is painful but I can let them out more now since I am not with my parents during the week. I have to be careful when I go back on the weekends though.

I looked around my room again and smiled at how well they put it together. I have my bed against the window and a grey desk across from it with a black bookshelf next to that. I also have a corner with grey beanbags and a black circle carpet. The walls are white which I will change later but for now that will work. I plugged my phone on the charger, brushed my teeth, then got into bed to be ready for tomorrow.
