The axe almost brushed past my shoulder and I was sure that I would have suffered a massive gash on my head had I not dodged it in time. I looked at the sharp edge of the axe beside me and broke out in a cold sweat from fear. A tall, well-built young man came into my view when I looked in the direction from where the axe had unceremoniously emerged from. The man looked normal and did not carry any distinguishing features that set him apart from others. Although he looked like a common man, the malice on his face was a clear sign of his regard toward human life. "Not bad. I never expected you to have such good reflexes."
