“Special Operations Forces?” I asked curiously.
“Well, the full name of the department is National Security Special Operations Forces, but most of us shorten it to Special Operations Forces or just SOF because it’s way too long. It’s the highest level and most special department in the country. Barely anyone has heard its name, much less know about its activities, but their access level is among the highest in the government.”
Helen explained, “To put it simply, they are responsible for stuff like espionage, counterintelligence, assassination, protection of VIPs and so on.”
That explained a lot. No wonder this guy was skilled enough to exchange blows with Helen for so long.
“How did a killer like you make the acquaintance of a SOF?” I asked curiously.
Helen snorted disdainfully
