The music inside the bar had stopped playing the moment the fight had begun, so Izzy's voice echoed throughout the entire hall pretty loudly.
I grabbed a tissue from the table and used it to wipe the beer off my mouth before I shook my head faintly and looked at Izzy resignedly from where I was seated. I was hoping to watch a good show from the sidelines. However, I never expected her to draw me into the issue and make such an outrageous claim. I really wanted to ask her when she had become my woman since I had no recollection of that ever happening.
