The gift box which Jacob had taken out clearly had a watch inside it. I saw a ladies watch from the Patek Philippe Nautilus series secured inside the box when he opened it. The rose gold watch boasted a silvery opaline dial with wavy patterns and had a bezel encircled with diamonds, which twinkled under the light and made it look classy.
"As your cousin, I could not just give you nothing when my dad did," Jacob continued with a laugh, "I'm not as rich as my dad, though, so I can't give you twenty percent of the Virtue Group's shares like he did. I thought about it for a while and just decided to go with a watch in the end."
I took out the watch from the box and asked with a smile on my face, "A ladies' watch?"
"Yeah. You can use it to hit on a girl. I'm pretty thoughtful, aren't I?"
