Chapter 32Jasper stays home and keeps a low profile for the next week, waiting for his black eye to fade away. Using Daniel’s attorney-based advice, Jasper quietly goes about pressing charges for the attack. Jasper knows this could easily get out of hand, and Mark had already offered his help with anything, so Jasper puts his trust issues aside and reaches out. Together, he, Mark, and Leo come up with multiple plans of action to protect Grace’s privacy if it gets out into the media. He also uses the opportunity to prepare for the possible hate he’ll receive when the truth about his innocent drinks at the bar comes out.
