Chad POV

Amelia turns to look at me, making the man, my father, look at me. He had an enraged look on his face looking at Amelia but the minute he looks at me, his eyes become softer, kinder. Almost like he is not the demon that just walked out of a fiery portal. "My boy" he says, his voice filled with relief. "You are all grown up now" he says, taking two steps forward and then stopping. There is no doubt in my mind, this man is my father. It is like i am looking into a mirror, seeing my future self. "You have some nerve demon. Coming into my grandbaby's pack uninvited" Elijah says making my father snap his head to him angrily.

"Watch how you speak to me, bloods.ucker. I am here for my son" he says. Amelia facepalms and shakes her head. "Why do you guys hate each other? Papa you know the man is here for his son and I, the Alpha of this place, do not mind" she says, sounding p.issed off. "You look like that witch that took my boy from me. Who are you"? My father says to Amelia. "She is my little sister. Amelia Shadow" I tell him and he squints his eyes. "Shadow? You are the witch's daughter" he says to her. "Yes. I am Meredith's daughter. I think there is a lot that needs to be discussed, we should get inside" Amelia says.

"Lead the way" father says and Amelia sends the little boy off before walking back inside and we all follow her. "What happened here? Did I miss the fun"? My father asks looking around the living room. "I, had an accident" Amelia tells him as she drags a couch to sit. Everyone finds a place to sit but Jake, Aiden, Eric and Jonathan stand/sit closer to Amelia. "I will not hurt the little Alpha, you can calm down boys" my father says amused. None of them budge, choosing to stay beside her either way. "Who are you"? Amelia asks and the man just smiles at her. "I am King Lucian Graves. Chadwick's father" he says, sounding proud.

"How did you find us"? Amelia asks and he looks at Jay. "This boy, was at Golden Moon looking for b.loody Emily and i followed him back here" he says, gritting his teeth when he mentions her name. "I felt the dark energy following me but it was not there when I was in Golden Moon" Jay says. We all look at the man for a response and he smiles. "I might have a friend or two in the stupid pack. Friends i know would be sure to give me correct information" he says proudly. "You have spies in the pack"? Amelia asks and he grins. "See, as a demon King, I can easily sense if someone has negative energy and use them to my advantage" he says looking at Katherine and the witch shifts uncomfortably in her seat. Huh, interesting. And Jake noticed it as well.

"I don't understand. My whole life, the only father i have ever known was Andrew Smith. I never had a mother" I say. I want to know the truth and this might be the only person who can give me what I want. He is quiet for a while but eventually sighs and starts talking. "I met your mother at a shifter event for matings. Originally, i went there as an assassin. To m.urder the wolf King, but as soon as i saw her, i forgot the mission". His face has a lot of emotions swirling but the most visible, is pain.

"We dated for a while and she told me she was pregnant. You know how you wolves are, pregnancies are only 5 human months with you. She gave birth and 4 months later, she met her mate". Why do I feel like I am not going to like what he says next? "She never knew what I was. So she assumed I was just an omega from the Royal Pack so when she got an opportunity to be Luna of a pack. She took it. Leaving not only me, but our son as well".

"She told the witch Luna that I violated her, that she never consented and I forced her to be with me. They blocked me from opening portals to Night Walker pack and made sure i never saw my boy again. That witch was powerful" he says with a chuckle. I can't believe the woman that birthed me would choose power over her own child. "I tried finding you; but as long as the witch lived, i could not find you but then she died and i tried opening portals and the pack was not there anymore. You were gone" he tells me. "I know I will die now that I found you, but all that matters to me is that you know, I never abandoned you my boy. You were taken from me". Tears fill his eyes but he does not allow them to fall. His only crime was loving a power hungry woman, nothing more.

"Wait, what do you mean, you will die"? Amelia asks and he chuckles. "They hexed me. They built magic barriers so i would not find Chad. If i somehow managed to find him, i will die but all that does not matter to me. I found my boy, that is all that matters" he says with a smile on his face. "No. There has to be another way. You can't die. Not now" I say and he smiles sadly.

"I will find a way. If I am as powerful as they say, I will never let you die" Amelia says and if there is one thing I know for sure, Amelia will find a way.
