Amelia POV

Traveling in the evening made things so much better and easier because we got back to the pack by sunrise. Chad and I helped everyone get settled in before going back to our own rooms to sleep and I know Chad has been wanting to be alone with his mate for so long so this opportunity will not go unused. I could not sleep though. A lot is going through my head and I can't believe how much has changed in a single weekend. I now not only have one but two mates and a third somewhere in the world. Both my mates have girlfriends. There is a prophecy about me changing the world.

Its a lot and I don't know if I can handle it. My vampire side is also not helping things. What happens when someone gets hurt and Aiden is not there to help me? What if I k.ill people unintentionally? All of this is stressing me out and I find it very hard to fix it.

Deciding laying in bed is not as helpful for me, I get out of bed and take a shower. I put on my gym gear and head downstairs to the kitchen. The kitchen staff is preparing breakfast and I decide to help them.

We prepare a huge feast to cater for the wolves we came back with. There is everything from cheese omelettes to tons of bacon and sausages, French toast and pancakes. Different kinds of Juice, coffee and tea and we place everything in the dining room. As soon as everything is placed on the table, I hear doors closing, people running and The King and Jake appear first before Chad, Annabel and Lila. "I smell bacon" Alpha Killian says with a smile and Jake comes straight to hug me. "Yes. This is why you are mated to my best friend" he says picking me up and spinning me around.

"She hates that. Put her down before she kicks your butt" Chad warns him and they all laugh. "Something smells amazing" Lila says sniffing around. "Yeah. The food" Jake says dropping himself on a chair next to the King. "No it smells like old spice, and nature. Its so beautiful" she says and everyone goes silent. Eric walks in right at that moment. "Amelia? What did you bring with you? Something smells really beautiful" he says looking around before his eyes land on Lila. "Well what do you know? Both my girls find their mates in the same pack " King Killian says chuckling.

Lila gets up from her chair and walks to Eric Who is frozen on his spot. I can imagine how this must feel for him, after losing his first mate. He must be really afraid Lila won't want him as well. "Lila, meet Eric Davis. My brother and gamma. Eric, this is Lila Brown. A really good friend and her sister is Chad's mate" I say to them, Lila smiles at him and he stutters. "Will...will you accept me"? He asks and Lila nods happily.

"I Lila Brown accept you, Eric Davis as my mate and other half" she says and he lets out a huge sigh of relief. "I Eric Davis accept you Lila Brown as my mate and other half" he says as Lila jumps in his arms excitedly. "Can i mark you"? Lila asks and Eric widens his eyes. "I want to be sure I never lose you" Lila explains sheepishly and Eric nods. "Mark me" he says and she bites into his neck as he does the same to her. They finally let go and Jake clears his throat. "Can we eat now"? He asks and everyone laughs at him.

We all sit around the table and have breakfast while discussing the blessing ceremony. "It does not have to be fancy. We just need the whole pack in one place and a small stage and we can do everything tonight" King Killian says with a shrug and I mindlink Naya to come to the dining room with Talia. They walk in almost immediately and bow to the King. "Can we get the whole pack in one place please. We are having the ceremony tonight" I ask them and they get to preparing right away.

After breakfast, Eric and Lila disappear and I try checking on the head warrior to find out how everything has been since we left. King Killian goes to prepare for the ceremony as well and Jake keeps following me around. "Are you going to stop following me"? I ask him and he pretends to think about it. "No. I want to make sure you are okay" he says shrugging and I facepalm. "I can take care of myself you know" I say walking in to my office. "Yeah I know that but I want to make sure, for myself" he says with a grin and sits on the couch grabbing a book.

"Fine. Can i ask you something"? I ask and he raises a finger stopping me. "You are disturbing me. I'm reading" he says in a sassy tone and I laugh. "No this is serious Jake" I say and he rolls his eyes. "Why are you so nice to me? Your best friend is clearly ignoring me and does not want me but you are really nice and sweet. Why"? I ask and he just stares at me. "I did not think you would ask me that. But honestly, I think it's because I truly want him to be happy. Anaya is not right for him, you are. And by the way, you are his fated mate. You two belong together" he says seriously.

"Also, the first moment I saw you, I felt the need to serve and protect you. Even my wolf is fully submitting to you and I don't know why. But I think it's because you are the Fated Queen" he adds. We sit in silence as I think of what to say to him. This is the last answer I expected but it brings warmth in my heart. "Alright then wolfie boy. Lets go work" I say and I take a file from my desk walking out. He grabs the book he was reading and follows me.

One of the warriors at the border links me to let me know a certain, Aiden Blackheart is here and I tell him to let him in. "Quick warning. Aiden is here" I tell Jake and he places his hands on his waist dramatically and sighs. "Even Blackheart is serious and my j.erk of a best friend is not" he says and I laugh at his reaction. Chad walks up to us with a scowl and crosses his arms. "I am the only one allowed to make her laugh like that" he says to Jake and Annabel comes from behind him, pulling my hand. "Let's leave them to argue about Beta stuff" she says and we run out of the house to greet the entourage coming in.

One of the car doors opens and Aiden climbs out of the car. "Hey" he says softly with a pant dropping smile. "Hi. Welcome to my pack" I tell him and he comes closer. "Can i hug you"? He asks and I nod. He pulls me into his arms and hugs me. Kara gives me a wolfish grin and sits on her paws content with Aiden being here and not smelling like Melissa. "So....are you not going to introduce me"? Someone asks from behind him and only then I realize that he has a friend with. "Amelia this is Justin. My Gamma and he also happens to be a vampire/wolf hybrid. Like me. J, this is Alpha Amelia. My mate" he explains kissing my knuckles and Justin wiggles his eyebrows. "Nice to meet you Alpha" Justin says and I shake his hand.

I get a whiff of a smell, coming from Justin and I move closer to him, realizing the smell is coming from the Jacket. "Who's Jacket is this"? I ask him. "Oh this? It belongs to Aiden's brother Jonathan" he says and I look at Annabel knowingly. Aiden however, does not realize what we are talking about as he is talking to one of his warriors. We wait for him to finish before going inside and showing them to their rooms. I am glad Annabel is here and taking her beta-female role seriously as I need to get changed before we start everything.

I head to my room, changing into a simple black dress and tie my hair in a pony tail. I rush to the hall where everyone is gathered and I walk up to the stage. The talking stops as soon as I am standing in front of my pack. "Good evening Shadow Pack and everyone who decided to join us today. I know this is very sudden but the Alpha King is here and he will perform the small ritual of blessings for our pack. The kitchen ladies and gentlemen have prepared some snacks for after the ceremony so please do help yourselves" I tell them and they clap their hands.

The King comes up and starts the ritual, saying few words of oath which I repeat after him and then cutting my and his palm and connecting them. I feel a wind surround us before feeling the connection to him grow. "It is done" he says and every wolf in the room howls happily. Our howls are cut off by howls heard in the distance and someone screams, "Rogues"! As the rogues run in attacking everyone. We all fight the rogues and I notice Jake, Aiden and Chad fighting side by side to try and protect me. There are only a few rogues so they are out before we know It but this still raises a concern because our pack has never been attacked before.

I get a whiff of a scent that instantly reminds me of my mother before a very attractive man appears in front of me. "Hello Amelia" he says and all the guys start growling at him and his friends. "Elijah Decker. We meet again" Alpha Killian says to the man in front of me. "Killian my old friend. Long time no see" the man, who we now know is Elijah, says smirking. "What do you want Elijah"? Alpha Killian asks him but he does not respond, opting to stare at me lovingly. I know this man, but I cannot remember where I know him from.

He reaches for my neck, pulling my necklace gently. "Remember me my angel"? He asks and it all comes back to me. "Papa"? I ask and his eyes fill with tears. "Yes my angel. Papa is here" he says smiling. "I see you have met my granddaughter Killian" My grandfather says as I crash into him hugging him as the tears fall on their own. Part of my family is still alive.
