Amelia POV

My grandfather lets me go after holding me for a while, looking at me with a tenderness in his eyes. Looking back at him, I feel my walls crumble down. Every pain, every struggle that I kept inside and ignored for so long comes back to me and I want to break down and cry and let my papa fight all the bad in the world for me. What hurts me even more, is seeing my mother's eyes. Those grey eyes of his that my mother had, eyes that I missed so much. Nothing will ever surpass this moment for me. Ever.

"Amelia? How do you know this man"? Alpha Killian asks me, skepticism in his voice. "He is my grandfather. Elijah Decker, Meredith Shadow's father" I tell him with a smile. Chad looks around and then clears his throat. "Maybe we should go somewhere more private"? He asks and I agree with him. "Lets go to my office. Everyone of higher rank, including Annabel and Lila, please come" I say as I lead everyone inside the house. "Everyone else, please try to enjoy what's left of tonight" Chad announces to everyone and they all get back to the festivities.

We reach my office and everyone figures out where to sit so we can talk. I stand in the middle of the room, torn between letting my grandfather or the King sit in my chair. "We are waiting on you to sit Alpha" King Killian says opting to sit on a chair right across from mine. My grandfather walks to my chair and stands right behind It, opening the chair for me as I sit. "I do not understand any of this. How are you related to the Vampire King"? Jake asks, shocking me with what he said.

"Vampire King"? I ask and my grandfather brushes my hair gently. "Angel, there is a lot you do not know but i am willing to explain everything. If you would only allow me" he says and I take a deep breath before nodding. "Your mother ran away from home after an argument we had. I wont lie, i did not approve of her being mated to a wolf so she chose him. But yes Angel. I am the Vampire King, making you, a princess" he explains. "Why am I not surprised? Your own daughter ran away from you Elijah but who wouldn't"? King Killian says chuckling.

"Watch your tone wolf. I will destroy you" granddad says and the Kings stare each other down, releasing their auras and raising tension in the room. "Stop it you two. You are making it hard for anyone who is not Alpha to breathe in here" I say banging my hands on the desk. Both of them tone down their auras immediately. "Papa, let me introduce you to everyone" I say to him and he nods. "This is Chad. I am sure you remember his father, Beta Smith? He is my Beta now. This is Annabel, his mate. She is a seer" I tell him and he smirks looking at Chad.

"Continue Angel" he says and I nod. Ignoring what he just did. "That's Eric,my gamma and Lila, his mate. Thats Jake, the soon to be Royal Beta and a good friend. You know King Killian of course. And this is uh...this is Aiden Blackheart. My...Mate" I explain, facing the floor on the last part. "You are mated to an Alpha as well. You are your mother's child after all" Papa says laughing. Before I can answer him, the door is pushed open and Melissa walks in. "I hear I missed the fun" she says walking straight to Aiden. "Hey baby. Miss me"? She says hugging him, even though he pushes her away.

"This is exactly why I do not like wolves. How dare you boy? My granddaughter is worth more than all of this" Papa says staring at Aiden, disgusted. "Papa, please calm down" I say but he ignores me. Next thing I see is him holding Aiden by the neck on the wall. Aiden is not even fighting him or trying to push him away. Melissa starts screaming, "Stop that blood s.ucking creature"! Kara pushes me to the back of my mind and growls at our grandfather. "Let him go or i will not be responsible for what I do" she says with gritted teeth.

The man bursts out laughing but he lets Aiden fall down to the floor. "You do not scare me Angel. But i will let him be, only because you asked so nicely" he says brushing my hair. Kara immediately calms down and crawls back to where she came from, giving me back control. "Make sure your s.lut behaves boy because my Angel may be nice and understanding, but i am not" Papa tells Aiden and he nods, coughing a bit. "Can we please just sit and talk like normal beings"? Eric asks and Jake chuckles. "Yeah sure, but not with the s.lut here. She is not a part of this family" he says looking at Melissa.

"My man is here and this is where I will be as well" she says with a pout. "No. Leave, Melissa. Or i will make you" Aiden tells her and she visibly starts shaking, before rushing out the door. "Alright. Now that is out of the way. Tell us more about Amelia then Elijah. What is this about her changing the world"? Alpha Killian asks papa folding his arms around his chest. "Why now? Why only come to find her now"? Chad asks and I notice that he is looking straight into my grandfather's eyes, without any fear.

"Meredith cast a spell on Amelia and Chad, so no one could ever find them. I knew you two were not dead but it did not matter how many spells we did, we just could not find you" he explains, leaning on the bookshelf. "How did you find them now"? Jake asks. Papa pulls his long hair from the back of his neck revealing something that looks like a tattoo. "This is the Royal mark. Only the Vampire royals have it, but it only appears after one has mated. I felt the mark burn when Amelia was born, and as if someone was whispering in my ear, i knew where to find her. Same as yesterday. Her Vampire awakened, and i knew where to go".

No one says anything for a moment as this little bit of information sinks in. "Do you know what kind of a witch I am"? I ask him and he smiles lovingly. "Elemental. Just like your mother and your Nana. I am just not sure which elements you can control yet but my best bet would be fire, your eyes turn red when your wolf is in control" he says smiling. "Wait, I thought it was air. In my vision, Amelia was choking the rogues with air" Annabel says in panic. "But she can also manipulate water. And her eyes turn a bright blue when she is near water" Chad pipes in.

"And i thought it was earth. Everytime you are mad, there is a mini earthquake" Eric says facing me. "She could control all of them. She is the only tribrid and is expected to change the world so i would not be surprised" Aiden says and everyone turns to look at me. "I don't know guys. Maybe we should find someone to help me"? I ask and Papa stands up straight. "Oh yes. About that. I feel like your powers are being suppressed by something. Your mother did not, cast a spell on you and Chad did she"? He asks and Chad and I look at each other.

"Ah yes. Typical Meredith. What was the spell"? Papa asks but neither can answer him. "I can't remember the actual words but it was on the night she and everyone died. She said a few words and a blue mist appear surrounding me and Chad then it disappeared" I say and Papa nods. "She probably suppressed your powers. Would explain why i can feel the power radiating off Chad but he is not burning everything in the room". Why would Chad burn down everything. It is not like he is......"What do you mean"? Chad asks and Papa laughs.

"This is not funny Elijah. The children are confused" King Killian says, sounding a bit annoyed. "Tell me child, why have you not told them"? Papa asks Annabel and she shifts uncomfortably in her seat. "I am doubting it" Annabel says and my grandfather scoffs. "You sleep next to him, you of all people would know" he says to her and she bites her nails. "Baby? What's going on"? Chad asks and she looks at him. "I think you may be the Prince of hell the prophecy spoke of" she says and Chad just bursts out laughing.

"I would have to be a demon for that to happen" he says in between laughs. "What? Dont tell me you thought you were just a wolf boy"? Papa says, cutting Chad's laughing. "You are half demon and half wolf. Didnt your uncle ever tell you this"? Papa asks seriously. "I never had an uncle. Except for Amelia's dad" Chad says and Papa widens his eyes. "The man who raised you, was your uncle. Not your father".
