When school was out, everyone helped Alan and Althea get moved into their new home. Cory and Cole spent a lot of time with Dubbs. He would take them up in the helicopter, but he also was teaching them how to work on the engine. Dubbs’ dad was a mechanic. Dubbs was not satisfied just learning to fly the helicopter, he wanted to know everything about it, and he was making sure Cole and Cory learned as well.
They still spent a lot of time on horseback. They were learning all about ranching, but whenever they could catch Dubbs not busy, they were learning about the helicopter.
In school, Cole and Cory joined the track team. They were not interested in any of the ball teams, but they loved to run. They would both take home ribbons any time they competed. The years passed quickly for everyone.
