CHAPTER 15 - MY WIFE

While a commotion was happening at the receiving area, back inside the dinner hall Just as everybody was settling down, suddenly one of the planner hurriedly went over to Cindy to inform some bad news she just found out.

“What do you mean not there?!” Cindy suddenly shouted making everyone look at her including Sebastian himself who was talking to a business partner. "She said she as going to her room! She can't just be gone without anyone noticing!" Cindy added as she slowed down her voice.

But Eve and Daisy who were standing nearby felt worried, and then went over to Cindy to ask what was going on.

“Cindy, dear. Is everything okay? Did something happen?” Mrs. Wilson asked worriedly, when suddenly Sebastian arrived on the area together with Rupert.

“Mom, Auntie, everything is okay there is nothing to worry about. Please settle down. I'll see through everything.” Sebastian suddenly spoke, as Mrs. Eve looked at Cindy while she gave them all a faint smile and a nod.

“Okay then. But Sebastian son, please call me mom already. You are my son now as well remember?” Mrs. Wilson answered as Sebastian smiled and nodded.

The moment both mothers left, Sebastian then looked at Cindy and the planner coldly, as if wanting to eat them all alive.

“Now Speak! What happened?” Sebastian spoke coldly.

“Really, Sebastian? Would you even care if I tell you?!" Cindy answered as she sneered.

"See, you can't even answer! No I am not talking to you at all!” Cindy spoke angrily as she turned her back on Sebastian and Rupert while talking to one of the planner and Theresa’s head of security.

“Don’t you dare turn your back to me Cindy! I am asking you a question, don;t answer me with a question!” Sebastian spoke as she pulled Cindy by the shoulder making her look back at them.

“I am Theresa’s husband and-“ Sebastian retaliated but Cindy did not let him finish.

“Yes! You are her husband! But only in paper! And not on how it should be!” Cindy interrupted before Sebastian could finish his sentence. “If you want to know go look for Emily yourself! I am not telling you anything! You don't deserve to know anything!” Cindy added as she left.

Rupert on the other hand felt worried for both Theresa and Cindy so he glanced at Sebastian as if asking for permission to be excused and the moment he nodded Rupert immediately followed Cindy to know the details/

Sebastian suddenly felt weak all over his body as worry kicks in. He may be cold towards Theresa, but in reality she is all he ever thought and care for. And by the looks on everyone's face earlier, he knew something is wrong and he knew it is about Theresa.

Sebastian then hurriedly went outside and asked his guards to look for Emily and Theresa.

As Sebastian headed to Theresa’s room, luckily he was able to bump in to Emily who was also running around giving instructions to everyone she could find.

“Emily!” Sebastian shouted, making Emily stunned at the sound of him calling her.

Emily is Theresa’s personal assistant and bodyguard at the same time. She has been with Theresa ever since she went to college. She was specifically assigned by Theresa’s parents for her. She was the best in her class and a very known elite bodyguard. Aside from Cindy, Emily is also the closest person to Theresa. She is like a best friend to her, making Cindy like a sister she never had.

“Yes sir!” Emily answered as she walked towards Sebastian.

“What is happening? Where is Theresa?!”

“I- I don’t k-know sir. We are still-“ Emily tried to explained as she tried her best to recall the events that unfolded but Sebastian interrupted her.

“Where is she?! And why is it you don’t know?! You are her assistant! How can she be gone?!” Sebastian answered angrily, making Emily more startled.

Emily knew she would be no match to Sebastian, so she took a deep breath, held her head high and answered him as fast as she could.

“Sir! Ms. Theresa is missing and we are still looking for her. I wasn’t with her the entire day today, she asked me to assist the guests. She was with Ms. Cindy earlier, but apparently she also sent Ms. Cindy back to the hall. It was the planner who realized she was missing when they were about to have her re-dressed. We have already assigned 2 dozen guards, including your family's, to search for Ms. Theresa.”

Sebastian did not say anything and instead sighed as he shook his head in dismay. He was hell pissed that no one saw where Theresa went. On top of that he was hell worried for her whereabouts and most of all, her.

Somehow Sebastian felt he knew he was the main reason why Theresa acted that way and left, but he also knew that is very unlikely of Theresa to just runaway.

“Add more guards, make sure they review all CCTV footage inside and outside the resort and most of all make sure this will not reach to both of our family and the guests!” Sebastian added as he hurriedly left.

On the way out of the building, Sebastian bumped into Cindy and Rupert, who were running back and forth in search for Theresa as well.

“Did you find her? Do you have any news?” Sebastian asked as Rupert shook his head.

When suddenly, Wyatt came running to them as he called for Cindy.

“Cindy!” Wyatt shouted as Cindy looked back at him while he panted as he reached her.

“I saw this down by the back door.” Wyatt spoke as he handed something to Cindy.

“This- this is Theresa’s phone.” Cindy spoke as her hands began to tremble in fear and worry.

Sebastian was enraged the moment he heard what Cindy said. He immediately stood in front of Wyatt and held him by the collar.

“Where is Theresa?! I know how capable you are of doing stupid things! I warned you earlier, yet you still disobey me! Where is my wife!” Sebastian shouted angrily as Cindy and Rupert tried to calm Sebastian down pulling him away from Wyatt.

“Wife! Huh! You are calling her wife now?! Yet you mistreat her and hurt her like a petty toy!” Wyatt retaliated back making Sebastian burst angrily at him.

Suddenly out of nowhere Sebastian let go of him and threw a punch at Wyatt’s face as he fell to the ground.

“Sebastian!” Shouted Cindy as Rupert went over to Wyatt.

“You don’t deserve her! I deserve her because I love her!” Wyatt answered back laughing at Sebastian as he wiped the stain blood on the side of his mouth. "You can't stop me Sebastian, I will fight for her!" Wyatt added as he smirked.

“You!-“ Sebastian was about to attack Wyatt again but Cindy was quick to stop him.

“Scumbag!” Sebastian added as he left the place.

Cindy who has been following Sebastian after his argument with Wyatt suddenly called him out.

“Sebastian!” Cindy shouted as Sebastian stopped and looked back.

“What?!” Sebastian answered as Cindy walked towards him.

“Let me get things straight, okay? I hate you for everything you have done to Theresa and for what you have done to Wyatt just now. But if you can still find in your heart a teeny tiny bit of care for her and if you really meant when you said you are her husband, then please calm down.” Cindy spoke as she paused and took a deep breath. “Let’s just help each other now please, so we can find her. I am pretty sure, soon Auntie Eve will realize something is wrong and we both don’t want that to happen.”

Sebastian did not answer as he sighed and sat on a nearby bench as he closed his eyes and pondered.

“I don’t know your reason for acting like that towards her, and I don’t have plans to ask you. But please, this is not the time to throw a fit at everyone you meet. I know you wanted to leave sooner. Theresa felt it, that's why she headed back to her room. So the sooner we find her, the sooner you can leave this place and go on with your life and we will take care of Theresa in your behalf.”

But what Cindy does not know is that Sebastian is the most worried of them all about Theresa’s whereabouts and that he would kill anyone that would harm her.

“I will look for her on my own. I will call you if I find her. Please leave me alone for a moment.”

Cindy did not say anything and just left.

As Sebastian was left alone, he then tried to trim down the possible places Theresa could be on the island other than the resort itself, but as he was lost in his thoughts, he suddenly remembered something Theresa had done before that might be the same now.
