Chapter 2:The new friend

Saturday was supposed to be a day to relax and chill out but for me it wasn't. I woke up late just laying on my bed and staring at the ceiling.

then after a while I decided to grab my headphone and listen to some music.

Not like anything was wrong with my home everything was peaceful my parents were downstairs and my mom had prepared my favorite dish.

steel something felt strange and that was cool I couldn't stop thinking about it I thought of how people already had their own friends during break and I was just by myself lonely as always. I picked up my phone and scroll through it but honestly I wasn't looking at anything

I checked to see if I had any new messages but I didn't have any as usual I was a bit sad though but that didn't get me anymore. a few moments later my mom knocked at my door"are you awake my princess"and I said yes.... so she entered into my room and sat on the bed just right beside me. she asked how my day was at school the previous day but I didn't see anything much I just said it was okay

Then she looked at me carefully and said"just okay?" and I know that. she asked again"did you make any new friends?"I looked away and said no

my mom gave a sigh but she didn't pressure me also she just said"give it sometimes Sasha you just"and I said okay Mom and smiled. after she left I got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast

I spent most Saturdays helping my mom around the house watching movies reading and doing some school stuffs. but every now and then the same thoughts comes back"what if I don't even make any new friends in my school"by Sunday evening I had already started thinking of how boring my Monday would look like. when Monday finally came I moved sluggishly while preparing for school I didn't even fear excited I just wanted the day to be over

when I arrive at school I quietly walked down to the classroom... I was about to enter into the class when someone bombed into me and my books fell for my hands... I quickly bends down to pick"oh my god I'm so sorry"a voice from above said. I looked up and saw a girl standing looking a bit embarrassed. she quickly bends down to help me pick them up"I'm really sorry I was a bit distracted"she said"it's fine"I said, collecting my textbooks from her

she smiled"I am Bella" she said... I simply nodded"I'm Sasha"

"I know you're the new girl right?".. I was shocked at first and I asked how she knew my name. he just laughed and said that everyone knows when there is a news students

and then I gave a brief smile.. Bella looked at me for a moment and she said"do you want to sit with me during break?"I hesitated at first but after few minutes I agreed

she smiled and walked into the classroom while I stood there for a moment and for some reason I found myself smiling too... maybe Monday wasn't going to be as bad as I thought

I walked into the class and took my usual seat by the window. few minutes later Bella walked in and sat beside me."so"she said placing her books on the desk"are you always this quiet"and I said"well maybe"and then she giggled

for the first time since I arrived at the school I felt a little bit comfortable, when the teacher came into the class we both became quiet and focused on the lesson. as the class began Bella would occasionally whisper little comments to me. I tried not to laugh so the teacher wouldn't notice. the day was really good having someone around I thought to myself

soon enough the bell rang for recess

I was beginning to understand why Bella seemed so comfortable around everyone she actually knows everyone at least almost everyone

we spent our break time together she also introduced me to some of our friends

everyone was really nice and I smiled.. for a while I almost completely listened while they spoke because I wasn't completely comfortable yet, boss Bella kept including me in their conversations

I was really having a great time, at least for the first time I didn't feel invisible

by the time resource was over I noticed something... I actually didn't even check the time not even once.. I haven't even wished for the day to end.. for the first time I felt like I belonged somewhere

as we walked back to the class Bella looked at me and said"see you survived"I laughed and she smiled.. we got to the class still laughing about what she said

I didn't know it then but this small friendship was about to become one of the biggest parts of my life and of course I had no idea where it would actually lead me
