Chapter 4:The warning ⚠️

For the next few weeks, everything between Bella and I seemed perfect. we're always together, we studied after school, shared lunch, laughed during break, and sometimes worked around the school compound just talking

At home, my parents noticed how happier I became. One Saturday morning, my mom was preparing breakfast, while I sat at the kitchen counter"you have really changed since you started this school" she said

I smiled"I guess I have"

"is it because of Bella?"she asked then I said maybe

my father looked at me from the dining table"just remember Sasha, a good friend should make you feel comfortable being yourself"he said

"I know dad" I said smiling but I didn't think too much about his words

On Monday morning, I arrived at school feeling excited

Bella and I have planned to work on a project together after classes, but when I got into the class, she wasn't there yet, so I just sat down and I started arranging my books

Then suddenly I overhead two girls talking behind me

"did you hear what happened?"

one of them said, and the other replied" what happened?"

"I heard Sasha has been telling people things about Bella"

I slowly turned around

"what did you just say?"

the girls looked at each other and then said nothing and quickly walked away

I sat down there completely confused"where did I even come from?"I said to myself

a few minutes later, Bella walked into the classroom"good morning"I said, she barely looked at me and just said"morning"

as if she was angry with me or something

I immediately noticed something was off

"Bella are you okay?"

"I'm fine"she said looking away

"you don't look fine"

she dropped the bag on the decks and looked at me

"are you telling people about my business"when she made that statement I was confused

"what"

then she repeated herself

"are you telling people about my personal things, things that I told you were secrets?"

I shook my head" I would never do that"

"then why are people talking about me?"

"I don't know Bella you know that I will never do anything like that to you, you are my only friend"I said feeling bad

it was a safe Bella didn't even believe what I was saying, I tried to explain into her that I will never do anything like that but she said nothing and just looked away and really

after everything we shared, how could she even think I would betray her?

before I could see anything more, a teacher entered the classroom to begin her lesson

when the lesson began I couldn't even concentrate

it was as if what the teacher was saying was passing through my ear and busting out from the second one

I really felt bad, so does it mean that Bella doesn't even trust me at all

she's like a sister to me, my only friend that I never had

and I love the way things were going between us

but see now this way breaks me

"how can I even get that to believe that I wasn't spreading rumors about her?"

during lunch break Bella really spoke to me, I even tried making her laugh as I normally did, but she wasn't interested in talking to me

As I was leaving the cafeteria, one of Bella's friend worked past me. she stopped beside me

"you should be careful Sasha" she said

I frowned"careful of what?"

she simply smiled and walked away

I stood there confused, something wasn't right and I knew it

someone was trying to create a problem between Bella and I

"but who could that be?"

I didn't know the answer as much closer as I thought and I certainly wasn't ready for what was coming next
