XXIII chapter

THE NEXT DAY

AT THIRD PERSON'S POW:

The next day, all of them started to walk towards the old town cemetery. It was a pretty old cemetery, one of the oldest ones in that town. Some of the people are thinking that this cemetery is a ghost cemetery, and not many people know the reason why. Some people think that you could see actual ghosts there. That is one of the reasons why that place is almost never visited by the younger generation. All of them kept walking closer to that place. It was not that far a way from the ITO base, but as closer as they went, the more creepy road started looking towards them.

-I do not like this place. I think it's called a Gohst cemetery for a reason.-Caroline said.

-I know, Caroline, but I am trying to keep you safe.-Adam said.

-I know you will.-Caroline said and smiled.

All of us kept walking closer and soon we had reached the cemetery.

-Why do we have to look for clues here?-Simon asked.

-It is because that is how it's written on a clue.-A guard said.

-It is close to an old traitors' grave. It had the nickname "Killer" for a reason.-Adam said.

-I heard a lot about him in the BK section. I even heard a few legends and I am not entirely sure if they are real or just a myth.-Dom said.

-It's just a legend.-Simon said.

-Can you at least tell a short one?-One of the guards asked.

-I guess.-Dom said and nodded.

Once there was a guard that had a 'Killer' nickname. He got this soon after he started his duty. He was one of the best guards who cared about all of the sections equally. His type was to protect others and everyone liked that. He wanted to protect everyone, no matter the section. His name was Mark and everyone was so sad after he died. Someone has been killed and nobody still hasn't figured out who.

-I understand now.-One of the soldiers said.

-I want to leave this place fast. We came here in the middle of the day, so I think it's going to take a while until we find his grave.-Caroline said.

-We should hurry up then.-One of the guards said and nodded.

-I think if we could already know where his grave is, it could be way faster.-Another guard said.

-I think I know. A BK supposed to know that and my parents are from there.-Simon said and sighed.

- were they disappointed? Since you did not become part of BK?-Dom asked.

-They were, but if I had stayed there I would never meet any of you, guys.-Simon said while smiling.

-So where is it?-Catherine asked.

-It is on the other side of the cemetery and to get there is going to take some time.-Simon said.

All of us got up and left for that place.

It took all of them about thirty minutes to reach that place. Everyone was happy that Simon, for some reason, knew this place pretty well. It made them have less chance of getting lost.

-Thanks for taking us here.-Adam said and Simon nodded.

-It is good to have a person who knows his way around here.-A guard said and smiled.

-It is good stuff.-Caroline said.

After all of them finally reach the traitor's grave, most of them see how the grave is taken care of. All of the flowers taken care of nicely, candles and no trash around. It seems that people, even after ten years after his death, are still taking care of him a lot. All of them are thinking that they must think about all of those sacrifices he made for them and the town's safety.

-Take another clue and detail.-Dom said.

-Be more careful.-Catherine said, and Adam nodded.

AT THE SAME TIME

AT ADAM'S POW:

I am happy that we were able to reach the second clue. I need to be careful, or it might cause some trouble like before.

-Be careful.-Catherine said.

-I know.-I said.

I walked closer to the grave and between two of the bricks I saw a second clue. It was inside of a brick the end was in a pretty reachable spot. I took out a paper and saw how that brick vanished under the ground. Soon after, I started hearing voices around me.

-Adam, you are here.-One voice said.

-You are going to pay for killing us.-Another said.

- Your time is going down.-Third one said.

I could hear them slowly getting closer to me and I did not like that.

-Adam, Adam, Adam.-A few voices started saying my name at the same time.

I started hearing their voices slowly getting closer and it was pretty creepy. I had no idea why those voices started chasing me, but they sounded like ones from that simulation.

-Gohsts.-Caroline said in a scared tone.

-They do not exist.-One of the guards said.

-We should leave this place.-Another guard said.

-Let's go. I have everything.-I said.

All of them nodded and we ran off away from the cemetery. It took us another twenty minutes to reach far away, so we would not hear those voices anymore.

-It seems that we finally got away.-Simon said.

-You are right.-One of the guards said.

-You should read the clue now.-Catherine said.

-I think we should reach our hideout first.-I said.

Catherine nodded and all of us went to that place. It took us the same time as we came to the cemetery, so we reached that place in the late evening.

When we reached that spot, we were met with an unexpected surprise. We were hiding in a camp close to the building and right now all of the building was destroyed. It seems that someone came here after we left, and did that.

-Are we really here? It does not look like that spot.-Caroline said.

-It is that place.-I said.

-What in the world happened here?-Dom asked.

-It seems that someone is following us.-I said.

I took out the clue and looked at the others. It seems that we are thinking about the same thing. It's time to read the third clue.

You are going on a hard road.

You still got three clues to find.

I am not sure if you are brave enough,

So I wish you luck on another road.

The third clue is hidden.

Not far away from here.

It was placed in a spot

When the old town road was built,

Don't forget

That is not everything that you see.

-It seems that we are heading towards the town center.-Dom said.

-I agree.-Adam said.

-Let's look for the fourth clue.-Simon said.

-We have to hurry up.-One of the guards said.

After that, all of us leave towards the third clue. The road towards that club is long and pretty confusing. All of them must reach that place pretty fast since someone is following them. The road until they are going to reach the cemetery can take three or four hours.

It was pretty exhausting and we almost reached that spot. We finally were able to reach the start of the town center. We saw that most of the streets had some guards from the BK section. I knew that it might get even more difficult and hard to get inside. I know that mine and Dom's father can look for us. I hope that he is not going to do that, since he is mad about us leaving the TTV section. We need to get there unnoticed and I am still not sure how we are going to do that.
