XXIV chapter

AT THE SAME TIME

AT THIRD PERSON'S POW:

Adam and others started traveling closer to the town center. All of them have got no idea what is waiting for them when they are going to reach that spot. Adam was pretty sure that it was going to be really hard to reach the town center unnoticed. The closer they get to the town, the more people they see wondering inside that place.

-How are we going to reach that place?-Catherine asked? -It's full of guards.

-We need to get past them.-Simon said.

-We need to find a way to hide our identities.-Dom said.

-I think I know something that could help us to hide our identities.-Simon said.

-What do you mean, Simon?-One of the guards asked.

-I know a woman who could help us with it. We graduated from the same school,Simon said, and smiled.

-Could you take her to us?-One of the guards asked.

-I can do it. She lives a few blocks away from here.-Simon said.

Simon smiles and starts walking towards that woman's place. It appears that she is living inside a masquerade shop. This place is well known by others, so most of us were surprised that Simon would know someone like that. I mean none of us are sure what he knows, since all of us met not a long time ago. A lot of people are going to her to make a good appearance before Halloween. Another good thing about her is that she never takes a lot of money for stuff like that. She is also often called a wish because she can create an amazing appearance pretty fast. Soon we see how doors open and a woman walks out. She had short blond hair and she was about as tall as Simon. You can see that she is wearing clothes made by another person, and Simon has told us that her friends make stuff like that.

-Hello, how can I help you?-She asked.

-We need some of your help.-Simon said.

We see how she gets closer to Simon and hugs him.

-I haven't seen you for so long. How are you?-She asked.

-I am good. How about you?-Simon asked.

-We can talk about being inside. Please, come in.-She said.

AT THE SAME TIME

AT ADAM'S POW:

I can not believe that he knows someone like that. It is a good thing to have a friend like that. When we walked inside, we saw that this workshop was also her home. I can see some of the blueprints and I like them.

-Let me get something to drink.-She said.

-We do not have time.-One of the guards said.

-We are not going to stay here for long. Calm down.-I said.

-You can do it, Mia.-Simon said and smiled.

We see how soon she brings for us some tea and cookies. All of us sat down and Mia smiled a bit.

-What happened?-Mia asked.

-We need some.-Simon said.

-Can I first know who all of you are?-Mia asked.

-I am Dom and that is my brother Adam and his girlfriend Caroline.-Dom said.

-I am Catherine, Dom's girlfriend.-She said.

It seems that Catherine is getting jealous because of Mia.

-We are guards. We are here to protect them.-One of them said.

-What kind of help do you need?-Mia asked.

-They four need something to hide their indenities. I think you also could do a little something for us too.-Simon said.

-Why do you need something like that?-Mia asked.

-Our father is a member of the TTV section and we need to get to the town center unnoticed.-I said.

I saw how she nodded and smiled. I can already tell that she has got some ideas.

-After I finish, not even your parents are going to be able to recognize you. Boys first.-She said.

-I can go first.-One of the guards said.

I think he is doing that to make sure that she is trustworthy.

When she came back, a guard was looking pretty nicely. Another guard, after a makeover, was looking almost like first one's twin.

-Why do you make them look almost the same?-I asked.

-It is going to get them harder since they look like one person.-Mia said.

She was working with the last of the guards and then she called me inside.

-It seems that it said Adam's turn.-She said.

I nodded and then she took me inside. It took a while and soon after I was able to come out.

After finishing the makeover of Dom, she took Simon inside. After he came out, he looked different.

-You changed his hair color?-I asked.

-You look now like other section members.-Dom said.

-I agree. I think that you look like from your home section. Looks good.-One of the guards said and nodded.

I looked at Dom and realized that he looked pretty familiar to me. It was the first time that I noticed a familiar in our apperaince. Mia made us have an emo-person style and I kinda like it.

-I like it.-Caroline said and smiled.

-Same here.-Catherine said and nodded.

-Now it's the girls' turn.-Mia said.

I watched how she took them inside of the room.

--

All of us were waiting for them and soon I saw them walking inside of the room. I was kinda confused, since both of them looked almost the same. I have no idea what is going on, but I like it.

-Hi girls.-I said.

-Why do you two look so familiar?-Dom asked.

-They want you two to tell with one is Caroline and with one is Catherine.-Mia said.

-I have no idea.-Simon said.

-I am not asking you,Simon.-Mia said and frowned a bit.

-I have no idea.-Dom said.

-It is really easy if you get a better look. I can see my Caroline easily.-I said and took Caroline's hand.

-Now I see what you mean about Adam, Caroline.-Mia said and smiled.

-How did you not recognize me?-Catherine asked while looking at Dom.

-I am sorry, I just saw two pretty ladies and I got confused for a moment.-Dom said.

I smiled at them. It sounded like Dom trying to get away and not make Catherine mad. I remember when once she was a man to him and it did not end well.

-I think it's time for us to go.-One of the guards said.

-I agree.-I said and nodded.

-I think that we look cool.-I said.

-I made sure that nobody was going to recognize you.-Mia said.

-You did a good job.-Caroline said.

-Thanks.-Mia said.

-I think that we should go.-Simon said.-Thanks for everything, Mia.

After our makeover and small talk, we finally left Mia's home. It's lucky for us that her house is pretty close to the city center. I notice that some of the things here are renovated except a sculpture in the center of the town.

-I think somewhere there should be another clue.-One of the guards said.

-I think you are right.-Dom said.

-I hope that we can do it easily since someone is watching us.-I said.

-I think that it's close.-Caroline said.

-All of us get closer and we notice that nobody is paying attention to us. We touch all of the sculptures and then move one brick and then the ground opens a bit.

-Damn!-I said and started cursing slowly. I grabbed the sculpture's leg and it was lifted up and it moved down. I saw how a paper appeared in front of me. -I got it!

I grabbed paper and third detail.

-We finally got it.-I said. I placed it on my back and I got closer and smiled.

I nodded and started getting away from there. I got few steps and then I felt how the ground was shaking. I stepped a few steps and then all of us fell under the ground.
