Opposite mate

Sophia's heart was pounding as she stepped onto the plane. Her hands shook as she found her seat and settled in for the flight. She had never been on a plane before, but she knew that this was the first step in her journey to a new life. As the plane took off, Sophia gazed out the window, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. She was leaving everything she knew behind, but she was also leaving behind the pain and heartache of her past. Sophia had always known that she was different from the other pack members. She had always been more sensitive, more intuitive, and more in touch with her emotions. When she had fallen in love with Jacob, the pack alpha, she had thought that they were meant to be together forever. But when Jacob rejected her and banished her from the pack, Sophia's world had been shattered. She had felt completely alone and lost. For months, she had wandered, unsure of where to go or what to do. Finally, she decided to start fresh in a new town. Sophia had researched online, found a small town where there were few packs, and bought a one-way ticket. As the plane landed, Sophia took a deep breath and reminded herself that this was the start of a new life. She exited the plane, picked up her luggage, and headed out of the airport. As she looked around the quiet, small-town streets, Sophia felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew that it would take time to build a new life for herself, but she was ready to face whatever challenges came her way. Sophia found a small hotel close to the city center and checked in, storing her belongings. She took a much-needed shower and changed her outfit before venturing out to explore the town, determined to start making her new life. Sophia walked down the street, taking in the sights and sounds of her new surroundings. As she passed by a group of teenagers, she heard their excited chatter and laughter. For a moment, she felt a pang of sadness as she remembered the carefree days of her youth before everything had changed. Lost in her thoughts, Sophia didn't notice the man walking towards her until he spoke. "Excuse me, miss. Are you new in town?" the man asked. Sophia turned to face him, a little surprised by his friendly demeanor. "Yes, I am. I just arrived this morning," she replied. "Well, welcome to our little slice of heaven. My name is Mark," the man said, holding out his hand. Sophia shook it with a small smile. "I'm Sophia," she said. "Nice to meet you, Mark." They chatted for a few more minutes, with Mark telling Sophia about the town's history and some of its landmarks. Sophia found herself relaxing in his company, grateful for the friendly welcome. As they parted ways, Sophia couldn't help but think about the last time she had felt a connection like this, with Jacob. She pushed the memories away, knowing that dwelling on the past would only hold her back from moving forward. Sophia decided to go for a walk in the nearby park. As she walked past a tree that bore deep claw marks, she couldn't help but remember the time she and Jacob had taken a walk in the woods. They had stumbled upon a clearing that was surrounded by wildflowers, and Jacob had picked a bouquet for her. Sophia shook her head, trying to clear the memories. She had to focus on living in the present and building a new life for herself. As the sun began to set, Sophia headed back to her hotel, feeling inspired and energized by her new surroundings. She had no idea what the future held, but for the first time in a long time, she felt hopeful. As Sophia reached her hotel room, she took out the box of old photos from her bag and opened it. She stared at the pictures for a moment before pushing them aside and sitting down on the bed. Her thoughts turned to Jacob, the werewolf that had once been her closest companion. They had been inseparable, going on adventures in the woods and scouting the nearby towns for interesting places and people to observe. Jacob had introduced her to the pack, a tight-knit community of wolves that had welcomed her with open arms. But then Sophia made a mistake. She had accidentally revealed a secret of the pack to an outsider, and for that, the consequences were severe. Jacob had banished her from the pack, branding her as an outsider and undeserving of being one of them. Sophia had never forgotten the sting of that rejection, and she had been running ever since. But as she looked around her hotel room, the memories of her time with Jacob were catching up to her. Sophia clenched her fists, the frustration and anger she felt suddenly overwhelming. She had done everything to prove her loyalty to the pack, and yet, it had not been enough. She felt like an outcast, an outsider in her own home. Sophia's POV "Aren't you being too loyal to Jacob, one of these days he might just betray you"? Mirabelle my maid warned, but despite everything I still couldn't believe her words of warning to me. "I trust him and he trusts me too, I don't mind getting into a blood oat with him just to prove how much I trust him ". I said to her, smiling. Those memories hurted me so much, I couldn't bear the pain I felt whenever I remembered how loyal I was to him, I always felt like something was missing. I still wanted to know what I did wrong With a determination fueling in me, I made a decision. I would not let Jacob and the pack's rejection define me. I would show them that I was not a weak link that they could cast aside. I decided to take a long walk by the beach, hoping that the calmness of the ocean would bring some peace to my troubled mind. As I walked on, I saw a stranger also strolling by the beach. I barely noticed him until he greeted me and asked me how I was doing. I was surprised by the stranger's kindness, who introduced himself as Chris. He was on vacation and had come to the beach to clear his mind. We talked for a few minutes, and slowly u got to sense that he wasn't a human but a werewolf just like me,and I felt comfortable enough to open up to him. Chris listened intently as I poured out her heart about the pain of losing her pack. Chris didn't have all the answers, but his warm presence and support gave me a sense of comfort I hadn't felt in a while.. I felt the burden of rejection lifting from my shoulders. I realized that sometimes we have to let go of things we can't control and take one step forward at a time. I felt good about herself and promised to keep moving forward, with or without the pack. But one thing kept bafflingly me: what could have possibly brought a werewolf like Chris out to the human part of the world, was he also a rogue or was also banished, rejected from his pack.
