Human Hybrid Alpha

The moon was high in the sky it could be seen through the bars of the cellar. It gave little light into the dirty cellar which wasn't made for a Luna or her baby. It was cold and late, but it was nearly time to go. There was no other choice it had to be tonight the moon was full, she felt stronger it may have been in her mind but the moon was going to give her power, and the courage to leave. In her heart she knew this would be her last run. The run to save her daughter, however there was a flicker of hope she might make it. Her brown eyes looked around the dark cellar she was alone. It had been that way for weeks, she arrived, and the rest of the prisoners had been moved. No one could know the alphas secret. She was never truly alone not really she had her wolf Rose.  "Rose we need all your strength tonight." She felt her wolf stir inside her head she had been resting gathering strength. Child birth down here had been tough on them both but although Rose didn't agree with all of Pipers choices in her life they had a mutual desire to keep there young pup safe even if it was with their dying breath.  Rose's voice spoke within Pipers head as they looked down at the dirty blanket in their arms. “With our last breath I will protect our pup with my last strength I will run for our pup. We need to give her a name”. Piper shook her head “no we cannot, Not yet if we make it through tonight I will give her a name but right now I can't do it”. Within the blanket was a young baby only on her second day of her life she was beautiful a good baby. She was content in her mothers arms. Piper slumped down to the floor being careful of her special cargo in her arms. The floor was cold, but she needed a moment to gather her thoughts. Her thoughts drifted into the choices that had been made to get here. She should have just stayed within the pack house, the doctor had told her to relax, and enjoy the last stages of her pregnancy. She remembered walking through the pack others bowing their heads to their Luna, wishing her well in her days to come. Piper had walked just to the edge of the pack territory like she had done many times before. It was her field of sunflowers her safe space. She was part of the sunflower clan. She had asked the beta to stay behind as she just wanted to be alone before her life got hectic as a new mother. She closed her eyes taking in just the sounds around her, and the smells of mother nature as she rested her hands on her bump. “My Luna, where are you my love?" A mind link from her love the alpha interrupted her silence. A fond smile crossed her lips. "I'm at - " she was about to response when she smelt it she cut the mind link off quickly to concentrate. Rose was present within Pipers mind alert she sounded strong but nervous. "Piper we have two choices run or fight but you vulnerable to a vampire" Piper opened her eyes she was back in the cellar, she couldn't afford to let her mind think anymore as it would just bring her sorrow. She would block the thoughts put them in a box for another time. She stood and smelt the air through the bars the patrol had just passed it was now time. She stood going to the door of her cell, she used iron that she had found a few days before to play with the lock. She was very careful not to touch the silver bars of her cage. She thought about how easy this was to get out. She had wanted to do it before, but she had not had the strength, no food and giving birth can do that. She had not been chained like normal prisoners, she didn't think he could bring himself to do that to her. He couldn't even look at her never mind touch her, she wondered if the other ranking members knew I wonder what they had thought had happened to their Luna. The door clicked and creaked as it came open. Piper froze listening if her escape had been heard but there was no sound from upstairs. She looked into her arms and made sure her baby was secure she kissed the young ones head. “I love you sweet child"
