Mother - Goodbye

They had moved quickly through the crowd they seemed to come now to a quieter part of town. There were fewer cars not as many people not any really, this wasn't a good spot to be. Piper could smell the pack behind her, the doctor still lead her holding her arm however she had loosened her grip. They approached what looked like a house that had not been lived in for years. The doors, and windows were boarded up. Piper was looking for ways to escape, She felt the doctor tense, she was about to open the gate and a sigh pass her lips. 

“ I'm sorry Luna it's too late” the doctor let go, and moved away. 

Piper turned quickly she had her back towards the gate of the fence of the house. Her eyes darted around five pack members approached, they all looked sad of course they did she knew every single one of these warriors. Piper felt stranded, Rose wanted to shift but that would mean letting go of their baby, and that wasn't going to happen. Darius a large Male approached first his fists clenched at this side the four other wolves came to his sides. 

“Darius wait you know me, I don't know what he told you but we know nothing for sure. We don't know what she is we don't know what effect if any it had on me.” 

Darius turned his head to the side he was fighting the Alphas will and command he had grown up with Piper, she had been his Luna for many years now. 

“I have no choice, the ...chi.... infected needs to be destroyed anything we don't know about is a risk and a disgrace to our clan. This has to happen, we will be quick.” 

Piper didn't have a moment to plead Darius jumped at Piper, but she dodged sending Darius crashing into the fence causing it to break. The others looked to Darius in shock, Piper had her moment to run she cradled the baby close to her chest. She called on her wolf for speed, Rose picked up their pace. She knew she couldn't out run them, but she could lose them.

She found herself running past houses upon houses. She had never run this fast before she looked down to her feet she was moving extremely fast everyone around her seemed to go in slow motion. She didn't care how this was happening, but she was thankful it was. Her happiness was short-lived. More of the pack had tracked her and arrived. He was here, As if someone had kicked her the air knocked out of her chest the pain. The pain of rejection she fell to her knees her head dropped. She had been told of the pain that you felt when you had been rejected from your mate. She had no idea it felt like this, tears streamed down her face she knew the pack was closing in. She looked down at her daughter. Rose cried and whispered she knew what had to be done. The house closest was the one. Piper was on a mission she opened the gate to the house walked right up to the door and opened the porch door. She kissed the child unable to see her through her tear filled eyes. 

“ Be safe my beautiful creation" 

She then placed the baby down, this was a risk, but it had to be better than what was waiting for them only a few moments away. Piper blocked Rose out as she begged her to go back for the unnamed child. But she couldn't it was too much of a risk. As Piper moved only a few meters from the house she smelt them a strong pain struck the back of her head as darkness consumed. 

“Goodbye my sweet sunflower Goodbye Rose”
