Chapter 54

CHAPTER FIFTY-FOUR

On the other side of the portal, they got home feeling so exhausted and relieved that everything was over. Dinia was assisted to the living room by Aza who pushed the wheelchair from behind.

Lilith found herself in hell, landing with her back on the ground, “what the hell?” She said getting up and looking around, “how did I end up here?” but there was no one to give her the answer to the question. Just then Lucifer came, “what a surprise?” He said as he met her, “did you win?” He asked before observing the bruises on her face and the torn clothes she had on

“You didn’t” he said sadly, “I don’t know how I ended up here, the last thing I remember was opening a portal and falling into it” Lilith said, still puzzled on what just happened to her. “Did you think of the location you wanted to go?” Lucifer asked her

“I didn’t, what I was thinking at that moment was just to escape alive” she replied, “then that is why you are here” the devil said. “No it still doesn’t make , this is not the first time I am entering a portal without direction or location I needed to go, after all who am I if not the mistress of witchcraft” she said trying to wrap her head on the situation on ground.

“Well, I cannot give you an answer to your question, you can leave whenever you want” Lucifer replied as he walked past her. “I have to know why” she said to herself as she headed for the gates of hell.

On getting to the gate, she found out she couldn’t pass through. A force dragged her back to hell each time she tried. “what is happening?” she asked herself, tension beginning to build in her voice. Her heart beat began to race and her mind quickly processed the problem, “am I stuck her forever?” she asked herself.

Just then a demon ran towards the devil with a record book in his hands, “my lord, my lord” he called out. “yes what could be the matter” the devil asked turning to him, “something weird has happened” the demon replied.

“What could that be?” Lucifer asked him anxious, “the population of hell just increased by one” was the reply he got. “what?” Lucifer exclaimed, “how? How did this happen?” “I don’t know my lord, the records just added a plus one” the demon replied.

“Did any soul from the earth come in?” the devil asked trying to figure out the reason why there was an increase in hell’s inhabitants. “No my lord, no one from earth came” the demon replied calmly. Just then Lucifer’s puzzled face lit up like he was given a lottery. He walked and the demon followed him.

“What is happening?” Lilith said in frustration picking herself uo from the ground. “this is the 30th time I have been hindered by this force” she said to herself, scratching her head. “Welcome to the newest person here” Lucifer’s voice spared across the air to her ears

She backed him trying to get herself out of hell and to her coven. On hearing this information from Lucifer, she broke down in tears.

She hated hell and that was why she created her own coven and even though she felt lonely at times, she still preferred it to hell. She began to sob, asking herself how she got into hell and never going to get out.

Lucifer went over to where she squated sobbing he bent down and said to her placing a hand on her shoulder, “hell is a wonderful place to be and you would get used to it pretty soon. Don’t be sad, what we need to do is to figure out who sent you to hell and locked the gates against you”

At that moment everything seemed to pause for Lilith, her mind raced back to when she was battling with Elias and Aza. She saw a figure in the dark standing quietly and observing the fight. She remembered waving her hand and a portal opening behind her.

As she was about falling into the portal, she saw a glimpse of the face of this figure – Raphael. He snapped his fingers as she was falling. “Oh no! Raphael” she lamented, lying on the ground.

“Raphael? What did he do?” Lucifer asked, “he is the cause of this, he brought me here and made sure I don’t leave” Lilith lamented. Lucifer smiled sadly before answering her “you know Lilith, I can agree Raphael brought you to hell but he cannot stop you from getting out”

“Who then is responsible for this?” she asked but no response. Instead Lucifer and the demon with him looked up. “God?” she questioned and got a nod of heads. “Oh no, I’m gone” she said dropping her hands on her head.

Few days later, everything had turn back to normal for Elias, Aza, Dinia and Rowland. Rowland hasn’t brought back Rebecca yet, he wanted to be sure everything has turned back to normal and it was safe again.

For Elias, he said to himself, “it is time to get a girlfriend” but he didn’t know how to go about it so he decided to meet the person who he could learn from, Rowland. On hearing the latest development about to be embarked by Elias, Rowland got happy and he quickly fixed a date for tutorials.

On the first day of the tutorial, Elias could not wait for Rowland to come to his house for the teaching. “The World is safer now” he said to his friends when he was asked why he wanted to venture into a relationship finally.

His tutorial began with the topic how to approach a lady with poise. Rowland tried his best to teach him the little he knew that has helped him. “I make sure I practice everything you taught me today” he promised Rowland who smiled and nodded his head as a response.
