15. Depressed

Wulan looked tired and unkempt, her clothes looked crumpled, showing that she has to sleep at the office, and there was trouble at the office….

Her long hair looked tangled, she has dark puffy eyes, her cheek looks tinner, showing that she had plenty on her plate right now….

The woman sits at the wonderful sofa at the living room, opposite of Sandi and Ayu, whose now with the permission of her husband cut her hair short, to a pixie undercut short hair style, that makes her neck looked longer, and at the moment, she wore a crochet sweater that shows her transparent white colored corset she wore under the sweater, and a denim trousers that fitted nicely on her legs….

“Congratulation on your wedding….” Said Wulan as she sips on a mug of hot chocolate, prepared by Ayu for the woman she admires, before she sits with her legs tucked to her side as she leans to her husband n the sofa, and Sandi looked at the woman in curiosity….

“How did you know that we are…” Askes Ayu that was cut by the woman….

“Same old Ayu….” She said, smiling at her, even with obvious tiredness in her face….

“That ring you wears… And, Yu…. Your profile picture…” She said that makes Ayu blushed….

But then she saw how tired the woman was, so she dared herself to ask….

“What is going on, Ma’am…?” She asked, she was worried to see the look of the woman who usually looked sharp, clean, and well-treated….

“I don’t know, Yu…. My instinct never fails me before… I never misjudged people, until the recent string of events makes me lose my confidence….” She says….

“The case with Jaya and Mei was nothing, they just started to cooked up their plan, and thank god, Marni exposed everything before they actually go with their plan….” She continues and sips her chocolate….

“But Martin….? The embezzlement he makes were truly a blow for us…. For years he skims undetected…. Until you come along, San….” Said Wulan, looking at Sandi with awe, and wonder….

“Who are you, San…? Why didn’t you tell me the truth….?” Asked Wulan who obviously wanted to get answers from the young man….

Wulan set her sight off the window, looking at the sunshine that lighted the beautiful landscape outside the bungalow….

“You have all of this…. Why did you become an office boy…?”

“I never lie to you, Ma’am…” replied the young man…. “I really wanted to have a new experience…. And our encounter was purely coincidental…. Besides, you never asked me about my detail background, do you…?” He said which was a fact and it makes Wulan curses herself, for not having a thorough background check on the young man….

“I think I’ve lost my touch…” She sighs and gives a dry smile, that makes her looked more like a woman lose a war….

Only chirping of the birds that fills the silence of the three, until Ayu breaks the ice….

“You are tired, Ma’am….” She said, looking sorry to the gloomy woman…

“What can I say, Yu…. We have a total audit, and thankfully, that bastard was the only one do the embezzlement, and yet the numbers were quite significant…. And thanks to your data, we managed to make a full confirmation that we use for prosecution….” Explains Wulan as she looked at the young man.

“And what about your relation with…”

“I broke our engagement, Yu….” She said, cutting the girl short, doesn’t want to be reminded that she was engaged to that bastard….

Ayu looked at her husband who nods, and let his wife to take a seat next to the woman, who finally unable to withheld her emotion, hugged the girl next to her, and cries so hard, while Ayu only able to hugged the woman, giving her warmth and strength to the woman who obviously needed it all….

“You better have some rest, Ma’am….” Said Ayu, guiding the woman in her arms to the guestroom….

“Let me help you clean up, Ma’am….” Said Ayu as she removes all the woman’s clothes, before she undressed herself and led the woman into the bathroom…

Ahe then cautiously, gently, and with care, cleans every inch of the woman’s body that still firm and well-treated despite the obvious sign of tiredness….

Ayu then led the woman, after they both wears laced top satin sleepwear and lay the woman on the cozy bed, covering the woman with a soft bedcover….

“Yu…. Please stay with me….” Asked the woman towards Ayu who looked at her husband who was standing there and gives a simple nod to his wife who then slid under the bedcover, cuddle the woman who takes no time to fall asleep….
