He is gone now. He is not going to return. The voice echoed inside me, giving me the taste of reality. How unexpected life is. Just a few years ago, I was the happiest girl alive. Everything was perfect. I had everything which I always wanted. I was alive. I was living a happy life with him who was the love of my life. I prized him like anything. I did everything for him to make him happy. But it seemed like Ruskin was not happy. Now here I am standing. He is no longer with me; things have changed completely. My life is no longer the same. I have a role to play and responsibilities to take care of. It has been three years since he was gone. I want to blame him but I cannot. My heart does not allow it. And every time it wins over my mind. I keep watching at my house door thinking you will come today. It has been years since you have gone, you never turned back. Albeit, consider me a fool, I still yearn to see you. Every part of me always misses you, my Ruskin. See, still, I’m such a fool to call him mine. “I love you, Shine… and I will love you eternally.” Is what you used to tell me. Ruskin, then where has this love gone now? Why aren’t you with me now?
