My eyes shot open, something was off, I felt cold all over, and I couldn’t hear or feel Kalene. I reached up to rub my eyes, but my hands felt like lead, I couldn’t move, there was a bright light shining in my eyes, why was it so bright, I felt someone squeeze my hand and Eli’s scent filled my nostrils.
