she smiled before killing chapter 6

She left, and when she reached home, she checked her phone and saw that she already had many missed calls from her mother. She took a deep breath and called her back. “Finally, I can reach you. Where are you? Why didn’t you pick up my calls?” “Mom, what’s the matter?” “We have a party at the Khans’. Hurry up and get ready.” “Are you serious, Mom? Can I not come?” “I didn’t ask for your opinion. They are your in-laws, and you’re saying you don’t want to come? Hurry up.” Everyone was present at the party, but no one expected that Zaveyaar would also be there. This time, he wasn’t just a schoolboy from a middle-class family. He had become a successful businessman who dealt with millions in a single day. Mr. Khan introduced him to Sikander and Suhana. Meanwhile, Suhana acted as if she had never known him before. Zaveyaar: “Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Sikander. I hope you both are doing well.” Mr. Khan asked, “Do you know them?” “Mr. Sikander and his family are among the top business tycoons. Who wouldn’t know them?” Mr Khan laughed. fair enough. After a while, a beautiful lady arrived, covered in elegance and grace. She came and stood beside Zaveyaar, greeting everyone there. Mr. Khan introduced her as well. “She is Zaveyaar’s wife, Alia.” Everyone was there when Zeeshan, Manal’s second brother, asked, “Didn’t Manal come?” Then he noticed Zaveyaar standing there. Shahmir was beside him. “What is he doing here?” Zeeshan asked. “He’s a guest here,” Shahmir replied. No doubt, Zaveyaar was still as handsome as ever. Then Kavish arrived. “Auntie, didn’t Manal come with you all?” Suhana replied, “As you know, she’s a doctor. She was busy at work, but she’ll be here as soon as she’s free.” While everyone at the party was sparkling with beauty and glamour, Manal arrived just as she was, wearing her usual dress. “Hello, everyone,” she greeted her in-laws. Then she saw Zaveyaar. Her breath hitched for a moment when Kavish came near her and held her wrist. “Zaveyaar, meet my fiancee.” Zaveyaar greeted her while looking deeply into her eyes. Meanwhile, Suhana was worried about Manal. “You didn’t even change your clothes. If you were so busy at the hospital, you should’ve gone home and rested. Do you want me to take you back?” Kavish asked with concern. “It’s alright. I’m fine. Now that I’m here, I’ll stay until the party is over.” Suhana tried to make everything look perfect. “Wow, you two are such a perfect couple. You look so good together.” But Zaveyaar knew Manal better than anyone. He knew there was nothing between them except a family arrangement, and that she didn’t like Kavish at all. Zaveyaar said, “Meet my wife, Miss Manal.” Alia looked at her carefully, feeling that something was off. Of course, she was clever enough to notice it. Manal left the crowded hall and stood alone on the balcony, holding a glass in her hand. Someone came from behind. They stood beside the railing, facing opposite directions. Zaveyaar looked at her with affection in his eyes. “You’re still the same… and still as beautiful as ever.” Meanwhile, Iqrash had called Manal many times, but her phone was on silent. “Mr. Zaveyaar,” Manal said coldly, “I think you have a wife.” He stepped closer to her. “I still want to know… why did you break up with me?” He smirked. “Because of your parents, right? You are such a good girl, Manal. Didn’t you use to say that you loved me the most? Then why did you leave me during my worst time? Now I have everything… everything. You can become mine again.” “Zaveyaar, behave yourself. Your wife would be very disappointed if she saw you right now.” “You were always my first love, Manal, and you will always be my first love. No one can deny that.” Someone was following Manal to the party—someone who wanted to kill her. She had no idea that danger was already there. Not only could she be killed at the party, but her family was there too, surrounded by many innocent people. Iqrash had already heard the news and wanted to warn her, but she couldn’t pick up the phone because it was on silent. Iqrash kept calling her again and again while speeding his car toward the venue. Dua was with him, and she had never seen him this upset before. “Sir, I know you’re worried about Manal, but why do you always become so desperate when it’s about her? You always overreact,” Dua said. The shooter took his shot, but Manal moved slightly, and the bullet only shattered the glass instead of hitting her. Everyone at the party went silent for a moment before panic spread across the hall. Then a group of men entered the hall. They were all gangsters. “Hello, Miss Manal. Don’t tell me you don’t know me.” Everyone laughed—the gangster group spreading throughout the hall while pointing guns at the guests. The head of the gangsters, Night King, stepped in front of her father. “Hello, Mr. Sikandar. What a daughter you have. You must think your daughter is obedient, soft… and innocent.” He laughed darkly. “Let me tell you something—she has killed so many people. More than you could ever imagine.” “Shut up!” she snapped, as if she were hiding something. “But Mr. Sikandar, you should know me… Oh, you don’t? Let me introduce myself. People know me as Night King… the King of Nights.” He laughed again. “Alright, everyone,” he said while raising the gun in his hand. “I won’t touch anybody. I just want her.” I won't touch anybody. I just want her body." He was behaving cheaply and smiling shamelessly. "And I want to strip her... and beg for your life. And guess what? I will not even spare your life... So if you want to leave, ask her to get on her knees and beg for mercy." Arbaz Khan, aka Night King... "I think you’ve started dreaming too much these days. Who the hell gave you the right to talk to me like that?" The tone she was using was so cold that even her parents wouldn’t have recognized her. "You want to kill them? Do you even have the courage? Aaah, actually yeah, with so many dogs around you, you must feel at ease. But let me clear your misunderstanding — they can’t even touch me." She said that and took the gun from the man standing behind her who was pointing it at her. She was fast enough to shoot his hand and rush toward him. Pointing the gun at him now, she ordered his men to lower their weapons. As per her command, they did the same. Manal: "You like playing with fire, don’t you? Then let’s play." She raised her gun and killed forty of his men, leaving only him alive. "Now you are the only one left. Tell me, how do you want to be killed by me?" He was terrified of her. Arbaz: "You don’t know. My brother will kill you." "Aaah, your brother... He was stupid enough to send you to catch me. Do you think he can even touch a single strand of my hair?" Suddenly, Iqrash appeared. He ran toward her. "Are you okay?" "Yeah, I’m good," she replied normally. Then he suddenly shouted, "Where the hell is your phone? Can’t you see the time? What if something had happened to you?" It was clear to everyone that he was genuinely worried about her. "But nothing happened. This man is going to die. Arbaz, I’m not too heartless. I’ll fulfill your last wish. Didn’t you say you wanted me to strip?" "Ummm... so let me do it for you. But the question is this... do you even have the courage to look at me?" "Are you out of your mind?" Iqrash said. She removed her shirt, revealing wounds all over her body. She had countless scars that no normal person could ever have. "What happened? Did you enjoy looking at me?" Arbaaz’s phone rang. She picked up the call. It was Shahrooz. "Arbaz, where are you? Have you got her?" She replied, "No dude, maybe your brother is the great Night King, but he doesn’t have the guts to touch me." Shahrooz: "Don’t you dare touch my brother." "Oops... it’s too late." "I’ll kill you, Manal." "And I’ll wait for you." Then the sound of a gunshot echoed through the air.
